I always thought it funny that the same group who did "Bill, Bills Bills" ("Can you pay my bills?"), had the gall to put out the song Independant Woman less than 18 months later. |

See? It would be discrimination if the girls wanted to play and no girls' team existed. But that is NOT the case. We have an NBA and a WNBA, do you see any women playing in the NBA because they think the WNBA is "a joke"?
This is ing stupid, why are people saying they were discriminated against? They weren't! They have their own Girls' team, that is equal enough! |
Have you ever watched a women's hockey team? It really is a joke, and if the girls are serious about it, they are being incredibly limited when forced to play with other girls who are far below the expectations of a "good" team.
Personally, I don't think there should be "boys" and girls" teams, there should be "novice", "intermediate" and "experienced" teams. If they want to avoid bull problems like this, they should stop assuming that women are not able to compete at the same level as men, and vice versa. |

Problem is, it sucks when girls try to compete with boys then bitch when they get roughed up. Or when people cry foul and say "Ease up, she's just a girl!"
So yeah, they might be good players, but they deserve NO special treatment whatsoever.
