| hahaha. i like boobs as much as the next man, but when i sit down to watch some sport, i wanna see the fastest, strongest & most skilled players on the pitch regardless of gender. they just happen to all be men coz we are physically superior. thats the only reason theres segregation in sports. if there wasnt a difference, we'd all be playing together. |

| meh i feel the majority of sports the women could compete with the men equally. maybe not rugby and football, and probably boxing but i think other than that they would hold their own... |

i'm sort of a feminist sometimes, about some stuff...but yea, women shouldn't play with men in the same sports.
and it annoys me when some butch dyke tries to make a stand and joins some all men's club or something.
it's like, get ur own hobby. |

naaah...the only reason there is segregation in sports is because dudes would be trying to grope the girls... |

On Aug. 27, 1999, Penny Heyns (South Africa) achieved a record time of 2 min. 23.64 sec. in the women's 200-m. breaststroke at the Pan Pacific swimming championships in Sydney, NSW, Australia. She beat her own previous record, set the day before, by 0.78 sec.
200m Breaststroke: Brendan Hansen (USA) easily won this event in 2:08.35, more than a second ahead of his Olympic teammate Scott Usher (USA) who recorded a 2:09.48 for a silver medal Hansen was the 2004 Olympic bronze medalist and the 2005 FINA World Championship gold medalist in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke events and was competing in his first FINA World Cup event. Scott Dickens of Canada earned the bronze medal with his 2:11.06 time.
Not a huge difference, and that isn't even necessarily the "record" for both men and women, that was just the results I got for "best 200m. Breaststroke" search.
The ONLY reason why women are not typically high competition when it comes to physicality is simply because it has only been more recently that women have even been socially accepted to do these things, and is still seen as "unladylike".
When trained, women can do just as much as men.
Not to mention, it has been proven that women have a higher threshold to pain tolerance. |

"Fastest woman on earth"
In 1991, at age 15, she ran the 200 meters in 22.87 seconds, breaking the national high school record. - This is while she was in highschool at FIFTEEN!!!
As of June 2000, the fastest running human is Michael Johnson, the American track and field star who on August 1, 1996 set the world record of running 200 meters in 19.32 seconds
Not a huge difference once again.
I am sure if you looked at the ratio of professional male athletes to professional female athletes, it would be lopsided in the favour of men.
With that considered, there are a lot of women that may not have been given the opportunity to fulfill their physical potential, thus making it less likly for women to come out at the top physically, given their smaller amount of participants. |

Not a huge difference?
15 seconds over 200m is a ing huge difference. Its 25 metres, half a pool length
Thats massive. You've obviously never swum at a high level, so shut the up if you don't know what you're talking about.
Face it, men are bigger, faster and stronger than women. You can't argue that fact. |
