actually ive noticed this too lately ... alot of the techier / minimal producers have been moving away from that sound and making some kick ass ! housey / techy sorta tracks with some nice melodies / trancier influences!
the one that springs to mind is this ...

yup i would have to agree on that. seeing KT and Oakie (out of all other Djs Oakie ??:wtf: ) played similar to what you are desciribing and it was great. and Oakie only had 2 train wrecks ... darn good if you ask me lolz |

i understand what you mean jon...i just don't think the trance elements ever left. they may have left the spotlight, but by no means did the melodic sound cease to exist.
unless thats exactly what you mean. that the "progressive" sounds from a few years ago are coming back into the spotlight... |
