Before pitting lame and flaming messages, please view this page and please be nice with your response. And by the way, those are authentic images ;-)
I'd say strong proof that aliens do exist.

Pretty interesting, but renaissance isn't really ancient. If aliens were known during the renaissance there would surely be mentions of them in literary text and not simply in paintings
many others like are more than likely meteors and stuff. :( |

Yes, they called them "angels" and Gods. They were too promitive to label them as aliens or UFOs |

Yes, some are quite explainable, but some others are WOW ...
I've had this link for a long time, its featured on several great websites like crystallinks. Thought I should share it here ;-) |

Ok, i went to the page and i must say some of the drawings are very interesting, and are oddly like our ideas of UFOs today. Im not disregarding this completely, its very interesting and i think merits some more research, wich i will do later. One thing i have to say though some pictures are just being overanalyzed, i mean some of them blatantly look like UFOs, im not denying it, but some of them are just odd things in the paintings being overanalzyed.
Take this one for example,
Those just look like clouds, i mean seriously, i dont think that with all the other ones that clearly point to some sort of UFO there is no need to make things up.
Heres another one,
I mean WTH, heres the excerpt, | quote: | "La Tebaide" ~ Academy of Florence, painted c.1460-1465 by Paolo Uccello
The close-up (right) shows a reddish, classic saucer shaped UFO near Jesus. In addition, the tall pine trees in the foreground display the same patterns as seen in the lenticular clouds of other similar religious UFO paintings.
|
Making stuff like this up takes away credibility. A redishh classic saucer? Looks like a stain to me, IT IS a REALLY old painting after all, degradation occurs. And the trees looking like saucers, :wtf: ?
Good info, but some are just plain ridiculous. People that post such controversial information such try harder not to damage the credible information they have with looney interpretations such as these ones. |

Definitely, some of the photos are not very convincing. But its just some. I just also digged up in my favourites a good link if you liked the above stuff:

OK those too are a bit too much man, specially the ancient astronauts one, i dont know how the easter island statues and aztec ruins are relevant. The method for how the moais in easter island where propped up has been proven by a recent study, they even succesfully propped one up. And the builders of the aztec temples unknown? I mean seriously thats just pushing the BS envelope a bit too much. I like CTs as much as the next guy, but seriously!
And the pictures of people with animal heads?! Those are completely normal and make sense with the animistic explanational style of things, ie. that if you ingest or wear an animal appendage it would confer the animals abilities to you.
Another one, that planet, those it even exist? I've never heard of it. |

That Crystalinks website is for really hardcore ufologists, even I dont believe in some of the stuff.
I just wanted to bring some spotlight on the photos, the rest you can can figure out and conclude for yourselves ;-) Not all information is convincing, some photos are definitely very questionable. But a few very very good ones ;-) I think I am actually going to travel to see some of these myself to be thoroughly convinced, and to take a better picture. |

you obviously have a very different definition of "strong" than the rest of us.
i dont understand why artists are somehow precluded from drawing aircraft from their imaginations?
this is the equivalent of learning history from homer's illiad or odyssey. |
