u ppl are right, Torontonians are kind of uptight.

I haven't been outside of TO for a long time. But I think its because there are lots of cases of pedafiles and sexual predators on the news in Toronto.:nervous:

is it like this in other cities too?

Let me put a little spin to what you said. You know as a general rule, you cannot park your car for more than 3h on the street in Toronto.

You're going to ask "What does this have to do with the people?"

Well, if you want to spend the night over some friends, what do you do with the car?

See it's really a little thing, but I bet you that it stopped at least a handfull of people of getting togheter, especially if you're from out of town.

Or people in Toronto could learn how 2 use public transit more. There is life without the automobile beleive it or not.

But then again our rapid transit system isn't really expansive enough for that all the time.

My favorite time frame thing is the 20min seating limit signs in food courts and Tim Hortons lol too funny lol

Shows how much we misstrust each other.

I go to york university and the feel around campus is jus so cold, no one looks you in the eyes... people dont realy smile, its depressing.

LOL that reminds me of my office, where colleagues walk past you that way in order to try and intimidate you. LOL totally pathetic. Except when I do it. :p

I had the exact same remark when visiting a friend in Quebec city, you could not park anywhere if you weren't a resident. How are people supposed to visit each other and socialize? There was exactly two parking spots reserved for visitors for a very large residential sector, about 4 by 4 blocks, insane.

a few weeks ago, at some club here I was chitchating with a couple of girls, I think they mentionned about 10 times in a span of 5 minutes that they were from Toronto... pathetic.:stongue:

Nathalie: it takes a trained eye to spot who's a whore and who's not. Girls love to dress up and show some skin because they have the body it takes. But try to act stupid and talk them trash and you'll be rejected fast.

As Malek pointed it out above, I totally agree with your point about parking. I <3 Montreal with the way I can park for 6 days in the same spot FOR FREE without moving the car. Then, just move it for an hour so they can clean the street.

I really love Montreal. Too bad they don't have as much money :(

don't look at the averages, look at your employment sector. Have you asked how much a guy in your same position makes? Take that and compare it to the money spent on housing. The difference is not as clear cut as you might think.
