Paulie...i'll do whetever the i want thank's very much :)
PauLie_C
paulie, i lived next door to Billy Voitek for 6 years, as for that flair at the sydney game, yes that was wrong, there are still incidents like this that still harm the image of soccer in australia, but it is by no means anywhere near what it used to be, if i had a kid back in the nsl days, there is no way i would have taken my kid to watch a game, now parents can take there kids to games without a worry in the world.

i was not directing the "wog scum" comment at you!!
I dont think you would have been one of those 3 or 4 thousand moronic south melb supprters that thought it was kool to throw chais at cops when south melbourne won the grand final, or that ruined the shop front of taco bill throwing chairs into it every time south melbourne won a game.

And i dont really think you can compare the players that cam out of the old NSL, considering the a-league is only in its second year, its hard to compare the players that this leaguie has developed compared to a league that was around for 30 odd years!

And for the record, im not bagging your heritage you fvcking tool, i am also greek, but there is a minority the "wog scum" who fvcked the image of soccer here, and finally now the a-league is out to rectify that, and they are doing a great job at that.

paulie, i sent you a pm.
Paulie
Ohhh Millson, i dont like that tone of yours young boy! :|

Paulie_C i didnt mean to rip into you so hard (the topic is close to my heart, im a life member at south), the fact of the matter is we got spat on, shat on, and left high and dry by all sundry. The game is going leaps and bounds now because the administrators played the race card, so your joe and Bob can go to a game without having to put up with an ethnic. Its a sad reality, and one in which i will not have any part in. The sad part in all this is, we now only have 8 competitive teams ina national league, no youth league, and no real up and coming players coming up to play in the next couple of world cups. (u17's didnt qualify, u20's didnt qualify). At the moment the a league is just masking some of the real problems we are facing.

Now who's pandering racist stereotypes?

Can you ellaborate on what you actually mean by that?
Paulie
Dean read your first post in this thread...
Dean Millson
I did. And?
PauLie_C
Paulie, as of next season i believe there is a new national youth league about to start. As for the lack of youth coming up in the ranks, you cant possibly blame the new FFA team for this, this has come about due to the 2 barron years we went with, without a national competition and no direction at all, give this a-league a few years and you will see it will start bringing up some great youth players.

There are already a few

Nathan Byrnes (Adelaide Utd)
Matt Mckay (Qld Roar)
Dario Vidosic (Qld Roar)
Michael Beauchamp (CCM) now at FC Nurenburg

mate, i also followed south melbourne, but i started getting fed up with the sh#t i had to deal with at the games walking to and from the ground then when at the ground. I have no problem with the club, and yes they have a great history, but its supporters and its poor management screwed the club into bits, not the new FFA, i have had this discussion so many times with my best mate, as he is a die hard south melb supporter and refuses to watch a victory game.
Paulie
Dean if you cant see the correllation between your first post and that statement that is your problem.
Paulie
Well if they want to start straight away! Get rid of ange asap.

Light The Fuse
Joga Bonito!!!!!!!
Dean Millson
There were my sereotypes in my post at all mate.

My point was that i was about to ask who you were talking about but when Paulie mentioned the smashed up taxi & restaurants i knew exactly who you were talking about. That's not a stereotype - that happened mate.
