Should US be punished for all this mayhem it has caused in this world?

We all know that US has totally ed Iraq..
Marc Summers
We should apologize for a lot of things, that's for sure.

I don't even think a democratic president would do that, though.

Oh, and how exactly do you propose the U.S. be punished?

Sending Bush to UN war crimes tribinal, start a trial and treat him like Miloshevic was treated.. of common!!!!!!!!!!! he lied to invade Iraq.. he ed people in it.. he killed, he raped, he tortured, he held secret prisoners.. get a ing clue, give me a ing break... who the hell he think he is? he is a ing war criminal, a murderer., a rapist,, ing disgusting criminal.. a piece if ,. i wont spit on his inf face ... low life mother ******... ing 'president' of United States my asss.. tell him to come and eat my poo.

imposing sanctions against US (more precisely disallowing them to operate in any oil feilds/oil business with Iraq)..
CHRles
Sorry, but the IRAQI people are responsible for the mess in their part of the world.
Sadam was put on trial b/c he was the ruthless dictator, not Bush.
Iraq is split up between Shiites and Sunnis and they're the ones causing the havoc, not America.

America probably shouldn't have invaded Iraq, but rather it should have went after Iran. So if you want to put Bush on trial for stupidity go right ahead.
War crimes? No. The people who should be put on trial are Iran's leaders and clerics, Nasrallah and the Hizbollah, Hamas, Asad from Syria, Yemen's leaders, Bin Laden, Kadafi of Libya, and so forth. Those are the people who should be hanged.

Bush just needs to be sent back to Junior High, and you need to be sent back to Kindergarden.

Well, I don't have a problem with that, but frankly it would be doing the U.S. a favor, not punishing it.

Well, such a restriction would seem to hurt Iraq more than the U.S., which gets the overwhelming majority of its oil elsewhere anyway. Unfortunately, the same applies to almost any sanction you could put on the US, it's just such a big market and so interdependent with the rest of the world that even trying to impose any serious sanctions would almost certainly initiate a worldwide recession the likes of which has never been seen.

O really? A classic example of shifting blames, were shias and shinnies fighting before? where they killing each other b4? who started it? wasnt saddam running a country and maintaining peace and stability b4? did he picked up random sunni chick and raped her? did he? or did he picked random kurdish chikced and raped her? Its the US soilders raping girls in iraq.. not iraqis..

US soilders are striping iraqis naked and taking pics, raping iraqi girls, capturing all oil feilds..

There is no law, no peace. everything is just ed.. a total lawlessness and ..

Well Bush is working on killing more than all those put together.

that was Sadaams kids jobs.
CHRles
The answer to Purple's questions is YES.
Sunnsi and Shiites were fighting a long drawn out war in the 80s between Iran and Iraq.
And when Sadam invaded Kuwait, there were plenty of reports that Sadam's army was raping women and children.
SLAUGHTERED villages full of opposition? He never cut off people's ears for petty crimes?

Wake up Purple. When dictators like Sadam are in power you don't hear about half the they do. It's only once they're taken out and the western media is allowed to report the bigger truth that you find out about the horros that go on there.

LOL@Sadam maintaining peace. What a joke.

I'm a Democrat, but I've got to defend the president here. He is not the one killing "all those put together".
Should he take on resposibility for the safety of OUR soliders? Yes.
Are OUR soldiers the ones who are burning people alive in Iraq? No.
Are OUR soliders the ones who massacre people who have just walked out of mosques praying? No.

God, how do you survive in the real world?

To answer your first question, no they weren't killing each other, because Saddam, though violence, was controlling them. Is that really how sad those people are, that they need a dictator to control them in order to have some semblence of civility.

And yes, we all bitched about Abu Gharib and the teenager that got raped and killed. I've said before that the guys that raped that girl should be executed to set an example of what happens when you do such disgusting acts. Yes, I hate Bush and think he's a moron and that we should never have gotten involved. But do I think that the US is entirely to blame for this mess going on over there. Not hardly.
