Scandinavian Music Convention 2007
Its official, the fourth edition of Scandinavia’s largest dance event SMC will be held on the 1st and 2nd of March 2007. Due to the large demand and success of SMC 2006, we have moved to the bigger venue of München-Bryggeriet in Stockholm. SMC 2007 continues to offer the best coverage of all aspects that make dance music industry, be it the music itself, the people behind it, or the technology that makes it happen. SMC 2007’s daytime events will feature several activities including an expo, seminars, debates and star interviews. Experts in each field will showcase the latest trends and technologies in the Expo area. The nights feature some of the world’s biggest club DJs and artists give you a unique experience. Keep checking this website for updates in line-up and ticket releases.
TWO EXPLOSIVE NIGHTS
The nights at SMC are unforgettable and one of the most anticipated dates in the Scandinavian club calendar. Several dance floors featuring world class DJs, unique décor, trapeze artists and a pulsating clubbers, make this an experience to remember. Our ambitions for 2007 are to raise the bar even higher, making SMC the biggest and best. Make sure you are a part of it.
THE BEST COVERAGE OF THE DANCE MUSIC INDUSTRY
During daytime the convention hosts a number of activities including an expo, seminars, debates and interviews. Experts in each field will showcase the latest trends and technologies. It's the must see event for anyone intrested in dj'ing and club culture/music. We have some new exciting things planned for this years convention, more info to come.
All the daytime activities are free of charge.

SWEDISH DEEJAY AWARDS 2007
Swedish Dee Jay Awards is designed to recognize and appreciate the people who have a made a genuine difference and contribution in the dance scene over the last year. These awards are important as they not only acknowledge skill but to also inspire the next generation of music makers.
Nominations for the Swedish Dee Jay Awards 2007 will be announced shortly. Don’t forget to vote.

Our goal is to annually create a professional platform for dance music, which unites artists, DJs, labels, promoters, producers, media, club managers and all those who are interested in this music culture. SMC is designed to attract every aspect of the industry and its surrounding youth culture in a showcase of top international and local talent. Here you will be able to experience the newest technological developments and celebrate a cultural art form, which transcends the international barriers as the most universally accessible and influential form of popular entertainment.
Our objective is to create the ultimate annual event that represents the cutting edge of dance music its trends and fashions, an unforgettable experience.

Vad kan man räkna sig för ungefärliga priser, och vad är det för klass på DJ'sen månntro? =)

Har vart på samtliga tidigare SMC... '03 '04 och '06 och samtliga tillställningar har då vart på Berns salonger och har vart ett topp-event... enda trista har vart att det just vart mitt i veckan så publiken som blir allt mer och mer kräsen är svårare att dra dit mitt i veckan...
Dagtid är det ju expo med workshops där man kan få möjlighet att både känna och testa på ny utrustning inom att skapa musik eller DJa.
Dagliga seminarier då man pratar med kunniga inom allt kan man väl säga, både kända och stora namn dyker upp titt som tätt!
Sist var det tex. en öppen intervju med Paul van Dyk!
Nattetid är de party som gäller och grymt bra arrangerat hittills!
Som sagt... synd det behövs världsnamn som PvD för att dra fullt hus för linan brukar alltid vara den bästa!
En av kvällarna brukar dessutom börja med Swedish DeeJay Awards där det delas ut priser för bästa DJ, producent, club osv. inom clubscenen och mer r'n'b/hip hop scenen... Prime cuts och Urban cuts!

| Skamliga nomineringar deejaypromo tagit fram. Eric Prydz x3 och Proper Education? :nervous: :rolleyes: Den låten bör ju få utmärkelsen årets mest överhypade hög med kodynga. Däremot har han under aliaset Pryda och Cirez D levererat! Är inte detta Scandinavian Music Conference btw? Trentemöller har ju ägt hela norden i samtliga kategorier år 2006. |
