Rumors are that he was apparently fooling around with Julia Stiles while still married to Deb....
There could definitely be a lot of real life drama on the set next year if this is true...

just watched the season finale and thought it was pretty decent! i thought it was really suspensful when deb confronted lumen and dexter at the camp.....i thought that letting them go was what deb deep down felt she had & wanted to do. i could tell from the beginning that deb supported the vigilante and her side kick 100% as she experienced somewhat similar traumatizing events with rudy (dexter's brother) the ice truck killer (what a season that was btw!!).
the season did end with everything closed up which was a first, and i too was super surprised to see lumen decide she needed to leave so suddenly, but it was the darkness that was driving her this whole time and made her so close to dexter and now it's gone so i can see where she's coming from...
she'll be back next season (i think)...and i'm pretty curious as to what will come of it with everything closed. the closure makes me more curious
i am starting to enjoy quinn more and more and the fact that he kept his mouth shut about dexter and liddy was good on him.
anyways, it was a great season, better than i expected and cant wait for the next one....hope it's not as long as a wait as season 5 was!!! |

Julia Stiles is ok...she's not smoking hot by a long shot but you don't have to be. |

Since this post I have been waiting for THIS episode. Part way through the season it was pretty obvious thats where it was going.... a great finale. Cant wait for the next round. Waiting a year is always so hard! |

I didn't like this season finale that much. Way too many ???
1. When Travis went into Dexter's apartment how did Batista's sister not hear him even when he got changed in Dexter's room all that time?
2. How did she and Harrison disappear from Harrison's room? Travis walks in and they're gone? There's no exit from his bedroom :conf:
3. One second Dexter is floating in the ocean and about to drown and then out of nowhere an immigrant boat pops out and saves him
4. You'd think that Travis was the one to report the double murder so that they would see Dexter's face on the wall but he didn't...
5. Travis left clear evidence in the trash of his next sacrifice - you'd think he would dispose of it better or keep it?
Maybe I'm being a bit picky but it's just the little things that didn't add up that took away from the overall effect this season finale had for me.
Either way, Travis played a really good role and looks like the secret's out of the bag!! |

dude it's 2 apartments, 2 separate entrances! it's not 2 different rooms but 2 apartments joined by a door
so Travis looks out of the window to see them leave through another door
Travis was intending to come back to the apartment - hence the chopped wood and him driving by again and seeing all the police
Hanks Jr. did a wonderful job for sure
what I'm not a fan of is Deb being in love with Dexter now - it's almost unnecessary!

I read that the next 3 seasons (probably final) will have a story arc that will start in the next and become a bigger deal for the 9th season. I have a feeling the intern will become a serial killer (if not already.) |
