Amazing show with one of the best "openings" to a tv show I ever seen in my life, so creative.. yet disturbing, yet makes me wanna eat some eggs with ketchup.
weird. |

| watched season 1+2 . best show ive seen in a long time - James Doukes (sp?) is the funniest character , he cracks me up every time he opens his abusive mouth lol pretty much all the characters fit well together in this show , theres always something going and most importantly there are no 'filler' episodes :) |

It is one of the best shows on TV. For all who have yet to see Season 2 - you are in for a treat.
It is some of the best TV I have ever seen. |

It's a great show, one of my current favourites.
I just watched episode # 5 of season # 2 (when Dexter confronts a certain barkeep); the best episode of the series so far!
I have a crush on Dex's sponsor ;) Love her accent as well as her no B.S. attitude. Plus, of course, she's hot!
IMO: don't watch the show unless you're watching the unedited episodes (CTV edits the episodes, right?). |

whats it about? |
The plot is actually something which I didn't think would interest me...
to sum it up in so many words... Dexter has had the urge to kill since he was a little boy. His parents became aware of it and taught him to use it in a "productive" way. In productive I mean he works as a cop and kills the bad guys.
His psychology is captivating. His thought process is so left field. |

Agreed on all fronts.
Nothign (IMO) will ever top Season 1 (BLEW MY MIND!! The ending revelations and actions.... Jesus Christ... I dont think ive ever been so spell bound and shocked and in disbelief before!!) but season 2 is incredible too!! DEXTER IS MY HERO! (as my friend mandy says) haha. As katy says above, its the way his mind works that makes him so fascinating. his whole life is a act essentially that he puts on so those around him and close to him wont find out about "the way he is". Its fascinating and marvelling as hell.
This show and House IMO on the only supremely quality shows on television that simply cannot wait to watch.
Eagerly awaiting 3rd season! |

I HATE Lyla. What a pyscho! The woman is messed up as hell!
And re: her accent... best line I've ever heard on the show... Lyla is naked in Dexter's kitchen looking in the fridge when his sister Debra comes home late.
So lyla's just there topless and her business exposed and says hi to Debra. Then, seemingly she realises that she'd naked, so fars matter of factly in her action
"OH, sorry, pardon my !"
LOL!!! :haha: :haha: :haha: ing priceless line. Her best moment IMO. :D loves it!
