I'm very happy with the race results. Hamilton finally made a mistake, and so did Massa, and Robert capitalized on that one. :)

I was watching on German TV so had no ing idea what was going on.

I thought it was a weird podium, none of the drivers really seemed pleased (but then Kimi's always like that)...........

its became mundane for them. Every other race its Kimi, Massa, Lewis, Alonso, just the combinations change.

I have to watch the Chinese feed on the net, and yeah its pretty hard to understand whats going on.

One quick and great remedy: pull up the live timing from f1.com, and you will have all the info you need for a race. I never want to go back to watching a race with out it.

lol

I get the Dutch feed over here.

If I can fight my g/f off of the computer, I can get the live timing.

I really need a 2nd laptop :D

I must say, watching in Chinese certainly did beat watching the ITV coverage later in the day.

you ITV, and your over exaggerating. Just tell me whats going on, and leave the gushing at home.

The F1.com live timing can certainly replace james allen and martin brundle.

No US GP next year. WTF :(

Indianapolis will not host a grand prix on the 2008 Formula One calendar, according to track spokesman Ron Green.

The circuit has hosted the race for the last eight years but its future has been under threat for some time.

A deadline for extending the contract passed today with officials unable to reach an agreement.

It is unclear if another track will host the race or if America will be dropped from the schedule altogether.

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone and IMS chief executive Tony George twice met during last month's US GP to discuss the prospect of a new contract.

The original deal that brought the grand prix back to America in 2000 expired in 2006, when a one-year extension was signed.

George had hoped to secure a long-term deal, imposing a deadline of today by which time all parties had to agree.

However, with that deadline arriving, it seems certain there is no new deal on the table, with George likely to confirm the situation later today

I was planning on going there next year.

Bernie is a fool IMO not to have INDIANAPOLIS

IF he takes out these proper race tracks one by one from F1, i definately wont like to watch it or follow it anymore

What do you mean by "proper" race ? The fan following in US is very limited. It is not a very successful business venture. They have been going at it for the past 8 years...and I don't see an increase in the number of americans taking interest in this sport.

exactly. The fan turnout is poor, and quite frankly the infield track is terrible. Those two slow corners totally ruin the flow and quite frankly I am happy there won't be an Indy race next season.

Yep, I agree.

The oval is the only "proper race track" at Indy.

IMO the USGP always provided for some good racing. You may consider it boring, or just plain uninspired, but hell, there is lots of over taking at Indy every year.
