WHERE THE DO YOU LIVE? 90210?
ps, a line of credit is not debt....it's simply how much debt you CAN accure if everything was maxed out. |

When I was younger (19/20), I had a few credit cards and a lot of stuff in my name with an ex boyfriend because he had bad credit, so I just put everything in my name. After we broke up, I had a really tough time getting back on my feet emotionally and mentally because that relationship was horrible for me, so I was living at my dad’s house and just going to school part time and not working and sweeping my credit card bills under the rug and not asking my parents for help, thinking they would just go away. Bad bad decision, and I’m still paying the price for that immature behavior.
My credit is either “poor” or possibly “fair” now, but still..sucks that I can’t go to Best Buy and finance a new laptop on my own or anything like that for a while.
But at the same time, having bad credit has really taught me not to rely on credit cards. I haven’t used a credit card in over 4 years. Every penny I spend and have spent over the last few years is straight from my checking account, so I think my bad credit has been like a blessing in disguise. I’m slowly repairing it though, so hopefully by the end of this year, my beacon score will go up more. I plan to have my credit fixed and almost perfect by the time I’m like 27 or 28 so I can finance a condo and a brand new ride:D |
