That looks like utter . What happened to brilliant dialogue and even better screenwriting which is what made Tarantino famous? for Grindhouse, it looks like he took the cheesiest parts of those dumb movies we'd go see as kids when we had nothing better to spend our money on, and just slapped them together. GAY. This is like him saying, "Hey, remember those ty movies back in the day? No? Me neither. Well, I took the tiest parts of those ty movies, and made it into a movie TODAY. I AM TEH BRILLIANT; WORSHIP ME FOR I AM YOUR GOD"
you dont really get movies do you?

Do tell then, what is there to get about this movie? That it's an homage to the cheap thriller flicks of the late 80s?
And so I know where you're coming from, did you enjoy Dawn of the Dead?

yes i did, george romero happened to be one of my favorite filmmakers. and the reason why im really excited about grind house is not only because im a big fan of tarantino and rodriguez, but i really liked movies like 'reefer madness' and 'fight for your life' which both happen 2 be in the explotation genre.

btw tarantino isnt the only the only great director in film
u guys should check out stuff by francois truffaut, jean-pierre melville, martin scorsese, john woo(pre-hollywood), akira kurosawa

Whereas I agree with you, it didn't look that appealing, my interpretation of of it was that Tarantino and Roderiguez were trying to recreate the movies that you speak of i.e. those dumb movies we'd go see as kids when we had nothing better to spend our money on. Like it says in the beginning, they were taking us back to the era that influenced them. Just what I thought.
Definitely doesn't look like one of his better movies though. I'd probably rent it once it comes out on DVD just to see what it's all about.

Wild Hogs was really funny.

The new 4:14 min long trailer :-

Yes I realize I am way behind on this one but whatever....
MULHOLLAND DRIVE.
An incredible psychological thriller! Very deep and disturbing. The music is wonderful at creating the mood and the camera work is excellent. The movie can be interpreted in an unlimited number of ways and can be quite confusing.
One of the greatest films I have ever watched.
Plus I have a big crush on Naomi Watts: an incredible actress and very likable.
I certainly need to watch Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet now to get some David Lynch goodness.

haha oh Dima
i was utterly confused when I saw trailer to that one
saw Ghost Rider yesterday, I kind of expected a bit more out of it, since I've seen a lot of comics movies before, but oh well, I found myself the only one laughing at funny moments :nervous:

I wouldn't say sucked, but oh boy! His character lacked a lot of things... it was kinda sad to see him playing in a movie that doesn't show even a 1/10 of his acting abilities
