BTW,
Shooter:
Surprisingly good movie! As I said earlier I expected it to be complete tripe, but it was good. The story-line, although somewhat predictable, did have nice unexpected twists and turns. Acting was decent - Wahlberg was certainly a lot better in The Departed. Here, the acting is not so much outstanding, but you don't notice it being bad either. The way he portrays the character is very natural. The movie was also pleasantly realistic, unlike most Hollywood movies. Without giving too much away, I particularly like the way the car chase ended. Enough people get shot and maimed in various ways, and it's nice and fun to watch from that perspective too. People don't explode in a spray of blood when a bullet hits them, but there are enough blood effects for it to feel realistic.
Overall, 7/10
Maybe my rating is a bit inflated cause I always liked sniper movies. Although this is certainly not anywhere as awesome of a movie as Enemy At The Gates. Particularly, it's lacking that one-sniper-vs-another that was portrayed brilliantly in Enemy At The Gates.

Also, the main girl in Shooter has ing awesome . Especially in the scene where they introduce her. I sound like Jem here, but the top she was wearing (with no bra too) was soo hot.

You seem to be confusing my disliking of Grindhouse for my disliking of the Action/Horror genre. Which I don't. What I dislike is trashy movies - movies that have a ty plot, ty acting, and lame dialogue. And from what I've seen in the trailer, Grindhouse seems to have all 3. Just because you're making an action/horror movie doesn't give you a "get out of criticism for ty plotline and acting" card. At least not with me. You can go on praising Grindhouse for all the good qualities that it has, ... whatever they are.
Once you are an established director with movies that have a place in American pop culture then i might take your opinion seriously. Also did you go to school to become a trailer expert, because i would really like to become one too?

Nice try. I didn't realize I needed to be a boxer to see someone get their ass handed to them cause they suck at boxing. For me, Tarantino can be REALLY hit or miss. He's hit when he puts a lot of effort and most importantly thought into a movie, and he's a disappointing miss when he doesn't. OBVIOUSLY all my opinions are just from a trailer, but if you can say "OMG this movie will rock my socks" from the trailer, why can't I say, "I think this movie will royally suck" from the trailer?

i never said this movie was gonna rock by looking at the trailer. i knew the movie was gonna rock ever since they announced it two years ago. why?
cause its two of my favorite directors
i like exploitation films
fake trailers by:
Eli Roth (hostel)
Edgar Wright (shaun of the dead, hot fuzz)
Rob Zombie (The devils rejects)
Robert Rodriguez
Quentin Tarantino
all that in 1 package
