Yeah ending left a lot to be desired.
Also, I found it unrealistic how he broke protocol so much. The US Army wouldn't allow that kinda crap for a second.

I feel like this deserves a bump after that "Frozen" thread.
I recently rented Staten Island:
I had low expectations going into this, but was pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't watch it again, but it was definitely a creative, enjoyable view. I like movies that show different perspectives of an event that all come together at the end.
I also saw Day Breakers in Theaters:
I'm not a die hard vampire fan or anything, but I thought this was a unique twist on the traditional vampire storyline. It certainly was different. But IMO just, alright. I wasn't overly impressed with it, especially once they discovered the "cure".
I still haven't seen the Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus. I really need to get to the theaters to see it. Has anyone here seen it yet? Thoughts?
SUPER pumped for Shutter Island and Alice and Wonderland. Scorces is top notch and Leo has definitely proved himself as an actor since his heartthrob days IMO. Tim Burton is one of my favorites as well. I always love his movies and the creativity. And Johnny Depp....mmmmmmhmmm, not just a pretty face that man. But I definitely wouldn't kick him out of my bed!
*Edit* Has anyone seen Law Abiding Citizen? It didn't catch my eye before, but I've heard really good things about it.

i definitely didn't mind daybreakers considering i'm not a fan of vampire stuff at all. although to me, the ending seemed a bit rushed and just BAM, done. but overall, it was alright and watchable.

Terrible. Very disappointed.
Psyched for Wolfman this w/e and Shutter Island next!
I might also squeeze in Crazy Heart soon. Heard Jeff Daniels is amazing, and Maggie Gyllenhall makes me swoon :)
