awesome, thats right when I will be able to head up there...thanks...should be good times...Man, I remember the first time I saw Paul it was $10 back in '97. There were like 300 people at a club at wrightwood/lincoln (I think?) there and it was one of the best times of my life! Ive seen him about 15 times since then and he NEVER disappoints! He's the primary reason I started spinnin trance. I was purely all house/freestyle till I heard PVD for the first time! Although I just paid $40 for a ticket for Saturday! That sucks but it is kinda cool I guess to see the evolution of a DJ. CANT WAIT FOR SATURDAY! :toocool: :crazy: :tongue3 :disbelief |

headliners never did 4 hour sets.i dont even remember when was the last time i saw a DJ play before 1am |

I speciffically saw Tiesto and Ferry Corsten drop sets starting at 12:30 |

i remember seeing Tiesto throwing an epic 6 hour set at Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos , 3am-9am ... was epic.. and then the week after Oakenfoald at Venue Athens 4 hours 4am-8am ... i miss those days |

K. Saddened I cannot see Paul this weekend.
I want to see more artists to get a better variety if you will...but Markus is coming back "already"? I want to see Tiesto but he is just downright expensive unless he played for 5 hours and jerked off on the crowd as an encore.
I think it will be a fun show, but I am wondering if I should save my cash for other hot cheesy trance artists coming through.

yep...that was such a good time...my first time ever seeing PVD and it got me hooked! whatta night...I remember working on Monday after that (I worked construction at the time) and I was useless...:crazy: |

Hmmmmmm, so Lawler is on the 28th - I might actually be down to check that out for a bit as I'll be in the city for an interview over the next few days anyway (will be in Chicago the 28th through the 30th or 1st).
Anyone else debating heading out for that night?
My guess is there will probably be some awesome openers, so I think it'd probably be a good night to head out early.... :) |
