LOL, well let me just say, there are some ASOT episodes that really do the trick. (#293 did that a few weeks ago...*nice*) So I'm sure anything live will be a million times as powerful. LOL |

yes, and it's a very sore subject to discuss.
long story made short....went to see him last year, and when he came on the stage, the crowd got crazy, pushed and shoved. During Armin's second song, I was pushed to the floor, trampled and stomped on. Bouncers had to break up the crowd to get me out of there and get medical attention to my leg. The good thing is, my leg only ended up badly bruised and sore....but the damage was done, as I was so upset to leave Armin - was supposed to be the night of my life....dammit.
Armin found out about what had happened that night. He sent me an email appologizing about it and that he wouldn't be playing at Club Seven again. And I suggested he play at the Lizard Lounge cbecause they do some good outdoor events were there is plenty of space for everyone, and he told me he would tell his peeps about it.....
Here we are today...freakin' excited he took my suggestion. Anyways, so here we go. I'm going to try this again.
I thought I was going to make that story short...damn, it ended up long.
so yeah....if I get trampled again, you will see one pissed off chicka. I can't have anything standing in my way of this night, dammit! |

fyi... no need to be up front with all the crazies... liek that happens.. the music is just as good in the other areas...
this will only be my 3rd time for Armin, so im still fairly new to the whole Armin saga, but as a huge PvD whore over the years, Armin's style has evolved to what i once thought PvD's was going to do...
Armin does though play similar to how he plays in his ASOT's where as PvD plays completely different sets every time you see him... |

If that happens again, let me know. I'll get kicked out of the club for sure, but if there's one thing I learned in my years at UT/Austin, it's that some people deserve to get their teeth knocked off. Steve, Lizandro, Packer, Dirk, Dave, Lizandro (system9), Jake, me, and about two others have your back.

I cant wait for this man. This has to be THE biggest TXTA gathering in TXTA history. Steve is having a party on saturday during the day. Lizandro and I are bringing assloads of cd's and vinyls. You guys should plan on coming and hanging out with us Saturday before we get pulverized by Armin in the night.

Yes! That song was great too! 294 was really awesome. The very first one, The Great Escape, heard it before, I'm sure most of us have. But there is a fast buildup towards the end of the song, it's at minute 6:30 of the episode. I have to say, I usually love buildups that take a long time and leave you into suspense for a while.....but damn I pretty much fell out of my chair into a full on seizure. And it was the first freakin' song of the episode...I was already worn out.
Not to mention Frozen - Dogzilla. OMG, when he whispers "and the wind, it blew right through our souls" I was tearing up like crazy....chills and goosebumps, the whole package. That's my latest fav song that I'm playing over and over now. Can't seem to find it on itunes, maybe hasn't been released yet? |

I am in Dallas later this week for the first time for an interview. I hear Dallas is a cool city and am staying the weekend. Already got my ticket online for this. I am not like a huge TA in NYC, but I know we do some pre party meet ups here, do you guys do the same?
If so, I want in! I am staying in Plano so will still need to figure out how to get to this from there.
I am anxious to see how good Dallas is, I hear Great things! Let me know if there is a meet up going on!
