Hmm...Zabiela definately has my interest But I see it's the same night I'm going to see Shiny Toy Guns. I give them my full support, so I'll have to pass on Zabiela.
I'm sure if our interests are the same, we'll meet somewhere at sometime, watching someone kick some major ass on the tables. |

This was really fun. We were upstairs sitting by the balcony off a little to the left, kind of behind, of Armin. This was the first time at Lizard Lounge and actually had a fun time. It was a little packed for me, but we got a good spot and met some cool people. Think I might actually get out some more now - been awhile since the party was anywhere but at the house.
I will say, I thought the night was going to go pretty ty though when my tix never showed up; Thursday Groove said to wait and see, and tell them at the door; told them, they said I wasn't anywhere to be seen (but I'd paid); and the girl checking the list said I was SOL. I told a guy that kind of looked important out front - bald, bigger guy, leather jacket (someone said he owned LL?) - and told him what was wrong. He grabbed the promoter and repeated what I'd told him, then said, "We'll take care of you... just go over there." He looked at the promoter and said, "Can you make that happen - thanks." I would have been pretty upset to find out I spent VIP money, was given wrong info by Groove, and then have the promoter tell me I'm SOL. So, whoever he was - he was really professional and helped us out a lot. Now I just have to get a refund from Groove... argh. |
