| I saw PvD at Together As One this year and thought he had a great set, but i'm fairly new to edm so i dont have many older sets of his to compare it to. Anyone who saw him at TAO able to tell me if this was a better or worse set for him? Either way, i'll be going to see him again for the 1015 show. :D |

the first time i saw him was at monster massive 2004. the best set i saw PvD do. each time i saw him it was progressively more boring. |

Take San Diego out of the equation and I think you might be incorrect.
PvD played at Ten15 a ton of times last year and between Monster Massive, TAO, and many club events PvD played in LA a bunch of times too. AvB played at Circus twice I believe in 2006 and then at Monster Massive...but that's all I can really think of for LA. I might be missing one. |

damn cause i only remember like 3 dates for pvd. and one of them was when the shooting happened.
edit//dave: just in southern cali alone i can count 5 times for armin. so add probably 2 or 3 times in sf which would bring the total count to 7 or 8. i know pvd played 4 times in so cal. 2 of which i was at. vanguard and MM. he also played a one other time at vanguard and at tao. not sure how many times in sf. |

Last saw PVD in LA on Thanksgiving weekend and thought his set was great. Also listen to his radio show Fritz Soundgarden every chance I get and always find some amazing new tracks. So, I think there's a good reason he's #1 now, but go see him and decide for yourself! :) |

PvD had a residency at Ten15 last year, though it was never called it publically until one of his last gigs. He played almost every other month. I heard about the residency in late 2005 and continuously waited for a big announcement about it but it never came. Then in one of the descripts for one of the nights it talked about his residency a little bit. |
