| Apparently it's true. LP was arrested for "noise violations" This may the beginning of the end of Space patio as we know it. It was gonna happen sooner or later with all the condos going up and stuff. Let's see what happens... |

Damn that sucks ass. Did they shut down Space once he got arrested? That is absolutely crazy.
Their first priority should be cleaning up those crack heads roaming around downtown. |

you can get arrested for that? :conf:
I'd figure you can get fined or they would shut down the patio if anything...but arrested? damn thats crazy if he did then.
That kinda presents a tiny problem for WMC now huh? :whip: |

This is crazy...The club owners moved Downtown to get away from the noise issue
that they were facing on the beach. Now they have the same issue Downtown.
What the City of Miami wants, Is to have the clubs pay them just like the clubs on the
beach do. Its all about revenue for the city. Miami Beach makes its money off of
tourism and the money they spend going to clubs, resturants and shopping.

This is true. There are more Alcholic, Drug Abused Homeless people than ever Downtown.
Take care of that issue before you make a big deal out of a little noise. |

| I got to space around 6:30 and was there til maybe 9:30. Patrick M is wack so i didn't feel like staying for Ivano's set. Last night was kinda wierd.... Afterhours was moved to the 2nd floor room above the main room. If this is true, i guess it would make sense.. They had the patio open but no music was playing out there. My guess was that they were having it inside due to the cold weather. oh well.. |
