As I was told the first DV I went to in 2004 and I sugguested it.. "probably not as all the NLTA's already know each other" lol :)

How far from the center of Amsterdam is the festival?
I saw a train and then shuttle...These norwegian computers I am on are not that great with the flash website apprently!
Help would be appreciated! Thanks |

| There are shuttle busses to Dance Valley from Amsterdam Slotervaart train station. Which is 5 to 10 minutes from Amsterdam Central station bij train or subway or smth. |

so if i stay in downtown amsterdam it will be no problem to get out there in the morning and back at night?
also, regarding shoes, if i have a choice of hiking boots or flip-flops, which should i choose? will it be muddy etc etc |

Boots, just in case :D That's what I'd do anyways :) Only a little bit of rain can make a muddy mess. And I don't think my feet would like to walk and dance on flip-flops all day either. Plus you might lose em in the mud :p
I'm no Amsterdam public transport expert, but it should be no problem at all :) |

look at the weather forcast..
This year I will not make the same mistakes and I will plan ahead. If it is gonna rain.. I will have to buy myself some boots on the Friday. I will not have wet/muddy feet again like back in 2005, when I only had my runners for 2 whole days :(
