Re-opening of Guv (pg. 17)

The melodic trance scene or sound never "died". Some of you need to travel a bit more and dig deeper into international scenes and sounds. Trance has and is evolving, like other types of music. And for anyone who thinks that there are no trance clubs or "trance nights" in other cities around the world, you'll be in for a shock.

When a music style remains stagnant then it's cause for worry because that means there is no new innovation, creativity, or talent.

As for the whole Europe debate, Europe historically has been, currently is, and likely will continue to set the standard for electronic music. A little-known fact is that a large number of producers that work in America, or for American labels/studios are in fact from Europe. All those pop bands over the years for instance; most of their songs were produced by Europeans. Specifically in terms of electronic music, the majority of electronic music originated from Europe, and electronic music continues to be much more popular in Europe than it is here in North America.

When Toronto gets electronic music parties at the ACC or Skydome with 30,000+ people, maybe then we can compare to Europe.

As for Guv, I know something more important than the renovations, but I won't say anything.

this is understandable.. however you have to ask yourself.. would the guvernment or its owner think twice about disclosing a valuable piece of info about you..??

its a free country and unless you aquired this info illegaly you have full right to share it..

if the owner hasnt taken enough measures to maintain this projects confidentiality then he cant be too concerned about it being leaked.... IMO

Remember the photos that Shaya put up of the early demolition phase?

Well the person who took those photos got reprimanded for posting those photos online, so if you want to argue that Charles isn't concerned with this information being leaked, then you are sadly mistaken.

Enjoy your wait until May 12th cuz you're not finding out.

Looks like some other people have spilled the beans before me (see "the end of an era" and "skybar" threads).
