They have the right to feel sexy and have fun, but they should be on some site which has people of their own age group.
Rather than places where majority age group is 18 to 26 average. |
Who cares - it's not like they're pedophiles. |

Don't most dating sites group everything by age? Surely that's one of the parameters people can search for - hell, it's probably the most important one other than male/female. Which raises the question of why some people here are looking at the 50-60 year olds...
My sister met her current husband through one of these sites. She was about 40 at the time. It's hard to meet people any other way when you've got a full-time job and two children to support. I assume it's the same when people get divorced or widowed at age 50 or 60. In fact, they're probably the ones least likely to lie or abuse these sites, since they're really seriously looking for a long-term partner. |

you should use all the tools available. I mean if ur single, ur SINGLE!!! u don't have responsiblities or commitments. You can use the dating sites as a tool, nothing else. After all, ur still the one who's gonna physically have to go invest your time (and money) to figure out if this person is really worth ur time, regardless what they said in their profile.
U do the exact same thing when u go out o the bar, or the speed dating thing like some mentioned.. it's all the same , different day :p |

If anything, social networking sites are a breeding ground for attention whores + just another territory through which those popular IRL will seek the same status in the virtual world. People are adding 'friends' not so much because they care to talk to them but more because they want to pad up their numbers -- Myspace is the worst for this, Facebook not so much (yet). |
i agree. in fact there was a study completed in england that concluded the next generation is going to be the most self-absorbed to ever exist. quite the opposite you'd expect as the original goal for social networking |
