Most people I've dated I met online first.
Hell, a good portion of my friends I've met through online connections, or '6 degrees of separation of someone I had met online'.
Current BF of 4 or so years I met online.
My best friend in Toronto I met through Tribe.
However, the concept of having an "Internet Boyfriend" - someone that your only dating online and rarely / never see in person seems odd to me.
As a way to connect to people and then meet them in real life - great
As a way to replace real face-to-face relationships - not so much
As a way to maintain a long-distance relationship - so-so |

Who's Luke and Laura? lol But yes, we're not together anymore. Just friends. Actually I saw him this weekend.
My current bf is on TOTA, but only b/c I made him sign up. We didn't meet online. |

| Rach, surely I'll see more of you in the neighborhood when the weather brings in the sunshine.:D I could be that very guy that walks right past you and Adam down on Queen Street when you're at Shoppers Drug Mart. Lots of new gems have opened up in Leslieville this month. New Irish pub called THE ROY near Logan/Queen and Ed's Real Scoop a cool ice cream parlour. Too many new Irish pubs in our vicinity, another one called The Ceili Cottage opening soon at Leslie/Queen. LOL |
