I don't get it.
What clubs are biggest than Chelski in Europe? Sure, there are clubs with bigger history, but bigger in rep nowadays? Not many. |

i've said this before and i'll say this again. as a player you never want to play for chelsea. there are too many other good stars on that team and your play will be limited for the senior squad - especially with "the chosen one"'s tactics where there's a different line-up for every day. as a result those players' international performance will suffer too - due to just not a stable enough playing time at a competitive level.
There are of course players that do play everyday at Chelska - John Terry comes to mind and he always performs admirably. But there are those that don't and are basically sabotaging their careers. |

Agree with everyone else, if it wasn't for that Russian billionaire Chelsea they wouldn't be what they are today. Although back in the day they had Vialli and Zola which imo the two that stood out in Chelsea and brought them success.
Chelsea are now big in money wise, but i don't consider them to have a rich history and reputation like the others, since Abramovich stepped in more people have started following Chelsea because of there superstar squad. |

I do not disagree with this statement.
But the fact is that Chelski today has a squad that is more than capable of winning CL and there aren't that many teams in Europe that can field as quality squad as Chelski can. Richer history? Of course. Same quality in squad as Chelski? Quite debatable.
So if Drogba wants to win trophies, why would he really want to go to another team? |

| Yes Chelsea do have a squad full of stars and can win the CL however having a team of superstars is not all that makes a great team. Team Chemistry and Experience also are important, in which Chelsea yet have to improve on imo. |
