Great player ofcourse but, I would have rather seen an a striker with poaching instincts like Van Nistelrooy come in. Tevez has a very familiar playing style to Rooney i.e. breaking down defences and setting up goal scoring opportunities.
However, the premier league have threatened to block the transfer unless a large chunk of the fee goes to West Ham instead of the third party that owns him so unless West Ham can trash out a deal with MSI to get full ownership on Tevez, the move might not materialize. |
