| Aparently Chivu told Barca to f*ck off and has reached an agreement of 4 seasons with Madrid.... Madrid are paying 18M to Roma while Barca were offering 14M plus Giuly... I really dont know why Madrid need another central defender, especially since they already have Ramos, Cannavaro, Metzelder, and a lot of bench defenders like Helguera Mejia, Pavon etc... Im guesing most of these last 3 will be leaving and maybe even Cannavaro.. |

United have reached an agreement with West Ham over Carlos Tevez for what is believed to be 20 million pounds.
Great player ofcourse but, I would have rather seen an a striker with poaching instincts like Van Nistelrooy come in. Tevez has a very familiar playing style to Rooney i.e. breaking down defences and setting up goal scoring opportunities.
However, the premier league have threatened to block the transfer unless a large chunk of the fee goes to West Ham instead of the third party that owns him so unless West Ham can trash out a deal with MSI to get full ownership on Tevez, the move might not materialize. |
