If it's going to make them playable again, I'm not complaining. Some remakes are completely unnecessary (Lethal Industry, Flight 643 etc.) or simply suck (Toca's Miracle), but a lot of tracks sound dated by now and do not fit a modern set. A good example is Meet Her At The Loveparade, also recently "updated" by Richard Durand.
As for the Chemical Brothers remix, I've yet to hear it but I can see why Richard decided to give it a techy treatment, as it can be incorporated in more uptempo sets as well now. I'll be able to make proper judgement once the sample is back available. |

i think mike actually has a point this time.. whilst this place is all the better for its negative views, some people take the whole remaking thing far too seriously. it's one thing calling something (which this probably is.. i say probably as i can't get the sample to work) but you'd think durand had insulted everyone's mothers by some of the reactions here |
