i find the ipod with some banging musik always helps.
focus on your long term goal (be it to lose weight, get more toned, feel healthier, etc), not just on arriving at the end of the run. Also, visualisation is important. When it gets hard and you're struggling, being able to picture the benefit of doing the hard slog will motivate you to get it done rather than simply give up.
take regular breaks, maybe a couple of mins here and there, and yes hydrate well.
if you run into a seedy area then you're guaranteed to increase your sprint tenfold. |

Not the ipod. It is the sport kit:
The Sport Kit2 allows your Nike+ shoe to talk to your iPod nano. The sensor uses a sensitive accelerometer to measure your activity, then wirelessly transfers this data to the receiver on your iPod nano.
You can set goals and it will talk to you (man or woman voice. I prefer the woman). Set your pace, set your distance etc. Now if only she told me she was wet and waiting for me I would run like hell. |
Ahahah, yeah but I still need the ipod! That's really sweet though. |

Therein lies the problem, not enough areas of softness to run on. I'll just deal with my knees being in pain. My father has been running since his twenties and he's still moving relatively well and never complains about his knees. It's mainly if you overdo it when you get problems. Which I'm close to overdoing it. |

with good running shoes, you'll be fine.
it's not like your ruck-marching, fast-roping, or parachuting. |

Maybe better athletic shoes would help? |

felching is where a guy cums in a girl's ass and then puts a straw inside and sucks it back out? yeah? |

Why is a treadmill so bad? I'm asking because I run on one. |
