With Taj not there, I will have my bow and arrow to shoot you with if you get all epicy. ;P

(I'm only 1/2 serious here, lol)

Friday already...

I can remember when I received a email from Sean requesting to do the recording at the club. I immediately called Taj, and sought to set things up.. Initally, not only Sean wanted to come... but he was going to bring a friend with him. John Askew...

I was pretty stoked to be exchanging emails with John...Both powerhouse djs in the house would have been awsome, but John decided to pursue recording the other half of the CD in LA, and Sean doing the remaining at 1015. Either way, this was going to happen as everyone loved Sean before, and I so wanted to see him back for a second round.

Man, I'm so ready for tommorow. Im really excited too seeing as its my first time Djing with Kryo being used. Also, when Sean came out, Kryo wasnt used that night, Im sure he's gonna love the club even more when he gets a taste of of the kryo cloud.

The vibe im recieving from everyone is really awsome. Im really honored to be a part of your saturday nights, and hopefully everyone will allow me to continue to do so... It's just really cool being a part of such a recognized club like 1015. A place that we all used to play at, I call home now.

Also, the way 1015 looks now is awsome. I can still remember when those floors around the club were black painted plywood. If you have a look around the club, you will see definite changes including 90% of the walls being repainted a very nice flint mica dark dark greyish color. Most of the newcomers who come to 1015 are pretty suprised when they enter, expecially some of the spectaular changes in the mainroom.

Id have to say the highlights of this year for me so far was opening up for M.I.K.E, and Thrillseekers.. Both highly respected Djs that I have looked up to for many years...

A friend of mine sent me a new track I most likely will play as my breakaway from progressive into Trance for the last hour before Sean comes on. Its called One Wish. I beleive the one he sent me is actually the Daniel Kandi Remix. This has to be one of my favorite tracks at the moment. Along side another group called Moonforce, which I will debut to the club their sound, with a track called Just a few words...

While researching more trance, I also have been experimenting and finding my own way into other styles. After all, the aspects of being a dj is bein versitle. I have always liked progresive, and been spending more of my time these last few weeks checking out some new stuff. I expecially LOVED that track Armin played for the first or second encore of his closing set... the Markus Shulz track..

Also, a few weeks back, Thrillseekers sent me the promo for Waiting for you,(Breakfast Remix). I may find a suitable place for it in the mix somewhere.. Most definitely another great track. Im also noticing that many of the tracks I have really been diggin are anywhere from the 128-134 range.

I will probably spend a good portion of my evening here in the studio, going over more promo material that I received today...

I was contemplating this month to play a live set.. really one of my dreams is actually to play live in that mainroom. Id also like to showcase my keyboard skills as well.. perhaps next month maybe. We will see. How does it feel being in front of a bunch of people as an opener? Pretty Intense.

Everyone else out there that cant make it tommorow night.. youll be with us in spirit... Ill defintely record some moments so you all can see. sweetcandy girl, wish you could come.

Anyone else who would like to be on the guestlist for this weekend, again email me. I have been getting a mass of requests via email. Ill be resting most of my day tommorow.. but will TRY MY BEST TO MAKE IT OUT TO SVD.
