Oh BTW Taj, I totally busted a dude trying to get in with a wristband he just bought at some store. Was green in color, but I didn't recognized the person at all, asked who he got the band from, and he said "outside from Dave." Of course, Dave was out sick so he was screwed

Upon a closer look, the band was a little different than the ones being handed out. The end/sticker part was different.

I would recommend having Ten15 get wristbands with designs on them. Believe Ruby had to move from solid colors to designs a long time ago because of a similar thing happenin there. Not sure though.

Hahah me and Bas tried that at Avalon once. :stongue:

Ten15 should buy a poloroid camera so pics can be taken every week of those who arrive and are given access.

Post those pics up in the booth and if someone tries to walk in and isn't on the wall, just point to the pics and there will be no argument that can be had.

Great idea as long as my picture is this....

Good stuff! I think he was referencing Cristine (Tyas 69) as well regarding the long drive. She drove up from LA. :eyes:

"San Francisco 1015 Discover Live As... CD recording went perfectly! Never before have I been shakingly nervous about doing a set, but since I knew every second will be immortalized I was quite a bit nervous, double checking every last thing the whole time. But I could not have possible asked for a better setup, and as a result it went without a hitch, and I am just so glad I did it at Club 1015. It was great to play after Blurr again, he gave a perfect ramp up set and it was also terrific to meet DirtyHertz for the first time as the closing set of the evening. Truly awesome night guys, and the clubbers of San Francisco (and of course all of you who made those long drives ;) YOU'RE the ones who made this night!"

Man OH MAN!! good stuff TA's we need is to keep this kind of thing going and there should be no stopping us!!
;) ;)

Why the are so many people hanging out in the booth anyway? I've had access before but only went in when I wanted to take pics from different angles.

You really can't see from most of the booth and people on the floor can't see you. That means that when you are hanging out in the booth you are making for a smaller crowd on the main floor. Show some support and hang out in the front of the main floor so that you can increase the energy of the party.

I assume most TA's know that there is a men's bathroom upstairs from the stage. It's never crowded and often totally empty.

Yeah but wow a bathroom next to the DJ! Do many DJ's use the bathroom? I dont ever recalled seen a DJ leave the decks while mixing to use the bathroom.. Makes sense but wow I never knew such thing was ever there..

Ask anyone from a few years ago and if there was one person who would go crazy down on the floor...like a maniac, it was me. lol.

I had nearly broken my ankle about 4 times from jumping all over the place and landing awkwardly. I had to wear an ankle brace to clubs for about two years after the last injury until it was fully healed. It will still hurt sometimes.

Plus I've had a lot of back problems the last few years. I went a little overboard Friday night at SvD and I was sore Saturday night and then come Monday morning my back was in horrible shape. Can't even walk right. It keeps spasming and everything. Lower back is a bit swollen. I just hope it's OK come this weekend so I can at least stand up and walk around without looking like I'm 80.

That's my excuse on why on general nights where I'm not really working. :)

That's why for me.

Most people do rotate in and out of the booth area throughout the set. For people who have access, they often come up to get a little break thats all.
