Darthseph...You think the Heaven Scent J00F played IS the Downey remix? or is not? Because I have no damn idea..have you seen any video from the one Hernan played to compare it with the J00F video I posted?

kingofthenight...dude, if you watched my video of their intro you probably heard my friend saying some about "man we gotta get down there" and my response being "its too ing crowded, and I JUST WANNA RECORD THIS!"

I knew some was about to go down so I had to stay up there...and when they mixed say hello into the wall and everyone started singing that place blew the up!!!!!!! good times were had definitely

The Bedrock - Heaven Scent that J00F played was most certainly the Greg Downey remix. God that track sends shivers down my spine.
Fu*8%ing TUNE !! Although I wasn't there for the entire set of Hernan's, there is a possibility he could have played either version since towards the end of his set he was playing a bit more uplifting.

WHERE WERE YOU?!!!!! WE got there @ 6. I was there the entire time too, I was even with my friend wearing a Trance Addict Shirt with the Logo! I only saw one person from the board!!!

I made it to the TA meetup @ Nicholas Bennison's area and I met BinaryUnison and his friend with the TA shirt on who was from SF.

It was a lot of fun to meet them!

Random question, around 4-6PM there were some people with professional video cameras taping random people at EDC near the ferris wheel, anyone know who they were?

They taped a bunch of people briefly including me & my friend so I would love to see that video.

Nicholas Bennison: Great stuff! I had not heard of him much before but I liked him a lot. He played early on around 6PM but I enjoyed his energetic set.

Paul Oakenfold: Better than I expected, actually fun to dance to in my opinion. He had horrible transitions but a very good track selection so it ended up being fun.

John 00 Flemming: J00F once again rocked my world. Probably one of my best moments in raving ever was when he dropped Heaven Scent! I loved his set.

Deep Dish: Really good & fun. I enjoyed dancing to Say Hello & Be the Change and some the other songs they played but it wasn't anything amazing. (Sadly I had wanted to hear them play Party All the Time but I left to see Infected Mushroom and missed when they did play it. [Saw it on youtube later though]

Infected Mushroom: I had a lot of fun dancing to them but I picked the wrong spot and people were continuously passing by me and kept pushing me. IM was really good but not as good as I remember them being at EDC last year. I really enjoyed them though.

Hernan Cattaneo: Only saw him for a bit but he was great.

Above & Beyond: They were awesome! I loved their set. It was mostly their own classic songs but at 3AM I was so tired that was what I was in the mood for (good songs that i recognized). I was making out during parts of their set so thats probably why I enjoyed their songs so much:D I loved when they ended the night by saying "This being LA there is a strict curfew of 4AM" Ahh that was great.

I hung out with one of my friends the whole night. EDC was his first rave & he thought it was a blast and is going to continue raving!

All in all the Coliseum & expo park turned out to be a great venue and was great for EDC! It wasn't the best rave I have ever been to but EDC was super fun and I am really glad I went!

Didn't sound at all the same as Greg Downy to me when I was on the field. Sounded closer to the original mix or something along that lines... the bassline just was not quite as thumping/heavy as Greg's imo... just sounded completely different.

Could have been thought.

As for J00F's... it most definitely is the Greg Downey remix. I could tell in the recorded version after one full bar of the music. The bassline sounds very heavy.

EDIT: Misread your post Binary. I was there when Hernan dropped it... the bassline was not nearly as heavy as Downey's remix.

Neogaia -> There were people taping over at the Groove Junkies too and came all in our face while we were grooving to the beat. Definitely wonder when that'll pop up! LOL.

As I mentioned in another thread... I posted my pics on mySpace and in Photobucket...

I'm a huge A&B and anjunabeats fan.

My GF got really really sick and was puking, so we didn't really enjoy anything from 1:00 AM until we left, right before closing. In the parking lot, I heard A&B home :*( I missed Alone tonight and Satellite, two of my favorite songs.

Sandra Collins playing Robbie Riviera's - Float Away was really nice, sitting in the stands with such a great atmosphere.

I'm not sure who it was, I think it was Oakenfold but could have been DD or Hernan Catteno played
"Oliver Smith - Nimbus" around 9:30pm? That was incredible.
