| This sucks. I have five tickets (I had bought for some friends) that I got from Eastern Bloc. I better not get screwed on this or I'll be really pissed. Andre, Nick, please sort this out ASAP. |

I've been screwed by promotors before, so here's a moral to this story.
1- buy @ ticketmaster/admission, sometimes the additional cash is worth it.
2- buy with a credit card (tripledecks.com) you have a the security of purchasing with a credit card.
3- maybe ticket outlets should hold on to the cash till after the party (its no different than people buying tickets at the door) (sure that's not in the promotors interests, but why should we care?)
oh and 4- dont trust huuge parties unless the promotors have a previous huuge party reputation.. last time I got screwed was for the Cool World , 'A Great Adventure' party, I dont know if any of you remember (but US promotors were trying to get something going south of Montreal), it was marketed throughout Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. |

| thats really weird how they got the cash before the event... the stores shouldnt let them do that... i guess it was all about trust. |
|
|
| Jazz |
| promoters usually take the cash from advance ticket sales before the event happens so they have the cash to cover expenses.. |

It's quite simple really, money was taken from the ticket outlets under the direction of nick, and despite my utter and outright refusal of the action. The form that is at the stores was signed by nick, not me. i never agreed to cover money that was taken without my permission. Why should I? If you haven't recieved your cash for your refund I am sorry. I wish there was something i coul do right now, unfortunately i don't have the luxury of borrowing money from family to cover my debts.
I won't be replacing the money any time soon, there is no reason for me to. I adamantly refused this action, yet it was done anyway. I will contact the ticket outlets next week and try and work something out. Wintergalactic will happen next year, perhaps your ticket still being valid for next years event is a possibility? I'm not sure if I should be even doing that, as that would put me out money as well. But, I understand how you all must feel right now and I will do my best to make it up to you.
Understand, this is not my problem. I said NO. Period. And regardless of my wishes the money was removed. I cannot and will not take responsibility for this on a monetary level. Hopefully I can take care of all of you by offerring validity to the next event and I sincerely hope you all accept this. I'm not made of money, and I can't accept responsibility for someone else's stupidity.
email me at [email protected] for any questions to me directly.
sorry about the confusion. I hope the drama ends soon.

What debts?? :conf:
Even if the ticket sales cash was removed from the outlets, it should not have been used, especially if either of you had doubts about the event happening, and according to Nick you guys had doubts. If you did use the money then, yes, you should be responsible for your own stupidity.
The fact of the matter is the money belongs to US, the ticket holders, not Sonic State, and it should be rightly returned to us. Using our tickets to get into the next Wintergalactic is not a satisfactory solution. No offense but even if Wintergalactic happened next year, do you honestly think that after all this drama, that anyone will come out to support you guys? More importantly do you think any DJ's will be willing to work with you guys?
An irreparable trust has been broken here!
In otherwords I want MY money back!!! |

| Okay, this is what I think -- that big apology letter that Andre or whatever his name was posted not too long ago about how we'll get our money back along with free admission to the next party and a WG'02 was totally bullting us. He said we can only get refunds starting April 15 and when that day came, no refunds were possible. Let's see, April 15 and this guy is no where to be found. Seems like he gave a bogus refund date so he'd have enough time to get away. Okay, maybe I'm totally wrong in assuming this, but I'm sorry, I smell a rat. We've been ripped off and we're never going to get our money back. I heard that one ticket outlet tried calling Andre but his number was disconnected. You know, this situation is really going to make me think twice about spending a lot of money on a huge event. I really hope WEMF happens for sure without difficulty or problems this year and people don't end up losing their money....again!!! |

Andre, what the hell are you talking about??? If you didn't agree with taking the money, then why did you use your portion of it?? If you used it, then you come up with the money. If you didn't use it, then return it. This IS YOUR responsibility.
Frankly, I'm losing my patience with this. I bought five tickets early to support you guys, now I'm getting screwed. The outlet I bought from says Nick returned his portion of the money. If you don't return your portion of the money within the next week, I'm going to consider calling the police for an investigation into this event. Don't push me. Let me make it clear that I also have enought lawyer friends that sueing your ass on behalf of all TA's with tickets will also be no problem. Take this as you wish.
Behold the fury of Arcticboy. |
