Sorry to break it to you Arcticboy, but Sonic State no longer exists.. Its bankrupt, gone. No matter what you do legally you won't get .. Why do you think people were freaking over the ENRON scandle? Once they file bankruptcy it all over, people literally lose there pants...
Its all up to Andre/Nick and if they feel like giving you guys a refund..

If sonicstate was incorporated and they've gone bankrupt, then unfortunately there is nothing anyone can do to get their money back...
If it was a sole proprietorship or partnership then the business owners can be held responsible for their outstanding debts... |

There's obviously some confusion over this and I can understand why. I did not "use" my half. I never had a half. The money was taken and I have not ever seen one red cent of it. I DID NOT agree to take the money out..but out it came anyway. Now you are all jumping down my throat? Why? So you won't come out and support Wintergalactic next year? Then it'll never happen again. Do you think I give two s? I can pull away and never again give everyone everything from my heart. It's quite simple, none of you have EVER been to any events better than Wintergalactic and State. So if neither happens again, who's loss is it? Mine? Nope. I already lost. ON EVERY ING EVENT I'VE EVER DONE TO MAKE ALL OF YOU HAPPY! TO SEE YOUR SMILES. Ex serb friends huh? When the going get's rough, you all take off. Typical.
Sonic State was in charge of managing the event this year. Sonic State ed up. I was not in charge this year. This is the ONLY year it ed up. Now, you are trying to hold me responisible for money that Sonic State removed? I was never legally a part of the company, nor did i ever see any of the money. My portion?? What?? I never signed a contract at the outlets, why wasn't I informed that there was an agreement made on my behalf? Pass the blame right? Now I look like the bad guy. I haven't dissappeared you freaks, I'm right here posting replies to you people. You can email me personally at one of two addresses.

Either one, you'll get a reply. The phone IS disconnected, because my roommate left the country and I can't afford that kind of rent. I'm taking a month off to relax and recuperate mentally, emotionally and financially. Like I said, I can't borrow thousands of dollars from family to pay things off. I, just like you, have to WORK for my money. It doesn't grow on trees. I'm not some high almighty rich kid y'know, I'm just like you and your friends. I work for my cash.

I still live in the city and I will have a new phone number set up soon. Nick left the country, ran away...far far away. And you all have the balls to call me a scammer. Anyway, whatever. We'll figure this one out too, it's just going to take some time. I'll call the outlets on Monday.

| It's not that simple itika. If a company files bankruptcy, they hand over everything to the trustees who will see that as many debts as possible get paid. If ticket holders can't get money because it was spent on the event but didn't work out, that's fine, they tried. They would have to provide the trustee with proof of all expenditures. If that's the case, then my apologies to Andre. But that's not the way this is sounding and I don't like it. |

Maybe Andre was a bit 'late' in replying to these concerns, & maybe his first reply wasn't well thought out or well-versed. His 1st reply should've contained the comment that he never saw any of the money, which would've saved him from this 'heat'.
I just hope, for everyone's sake, that this matter gets resolved quickly. |

Im surprised, and feel real bad that a lot of you didnt get refunds for your tickets. I had a friend buy my ticket from DJ Depot in Brampton, and I was able to get a full refund the same day that Wintergalactic was supposed to happen. I used the money to buy Sasha and Digweed tix. I consider myself very lucky now.
To REALSPACEMAN, Im not sure what happened, and cannot make complete sense of the situation, but have to give you credit for atleast posting again, giving us updates, and facing the situation, rather than running. But at the same time, you have to realize that nobody will trust SonicState, or you (because everyone associates you with SonicState), until matters are rectified. Perhaps you have some suggestions, or some influence that could get the money back from those that have it (ie, your former partners). From what I know, Wintergalactic Miami went on without too many problems, so money made from that party, should be used to settle debts here (including refunds). |

Andre, why didn't you post that up as your first reply to this thread? It would have avoided a lot of confusion, and would have shed some light on the issue. How do you expect us to react? We've been kept in the dark this whole time, unaware of anything that has been going on. Nick points his finger at you, and you point your finger at him. I don't know who to believe anymore.
However, I agree with you that we need to figure something out, and put this DRAMA to an END. |

ok, i was keeping my mouth shut throughout this whole WG ordeal, but this is too much... dude, seriously, we've been going to your parties since, what, the first wg, or maybe even before then... anyways, what happened with ferry corsten at atlantis? oh yea, food poisoning :rolleyes: ... then what about all those "who wants ..." parties... what i'm getting at is, we've been supporting you since the beginning, and even though at times you screwed us over, we stuck behind you! so i don't appreciate your comment at all man!! saying how we leave once the going gets tough, thats such bull!

If anyone has ANY questions or comments, any at all, email me at the email addresses provided. I am trying to make some sense of the situation, and trying to help out everyone who lost money through tickets as well. The best I can do, at least right now, is guarantee that anyone who has a ticket and can't get a refund will be guaranteed entry into next years event...if there is an event.
With all this , I can honestly say I take full responsibility for one particular thing. Putting the fate of Wintergalactic in someone else's hands. I am sorry, it would have been different otherwise. It was my oversight, but I won't be held immediately responsible for losses sufferred by you because of errors made by SS. Yes, I was employed by SS, but that is the end of it..period. The monetary losses I regret, but I will offer equal value for you ticket for next years Wintergalactic. That's the best I can do, I'm sorry if it's not good enough.
In the meantime, if you have anything to say, please email me and let's straighten this out between you and me. That will be the end of it. And with regards to support, I appreciate every person who's stuck by anything I've done in the past. I will never forget each one of you, but don't go telling me that you will never come to another event because of a up. Ferry? happens. I'm still planning a free party. It WILL HAPPEN! GUARANTEED. Just be patient. Good things come to those who wait(HEINZ, LIKE NO OTHER KIND) ;)
Anyhow, email me and let's settle this . I'm sick of the drama and want this to end....NOW!! Please.
I will call the outlets Monday and Tuesday and straighten this out with them. In the meantime, let me know if you ever want to see Wintergalactic happen again. Because to be quite honest, it's no skin off my back to never throw another event again. Actually, it'll be less headaches! :D
