hahah are u kidding me? i would TOTALLY start a ing war if someone pissed me off while i was pmsing.
but on the flipside, i'd probably just call them back the next day and be like, "nevermind, i'm sorry, that was uncalled for. wanna get together for lunch and pedicures?":gsmile: |

Probably, but I would say there would be less wars -- conflict is inherent to anything competitive, and humans are inherently competitive. Women are just less likely to be violent statistically. |
of course they're less likely to be violent, but is that because of genetics or just because of the way society has conditioned them? Men are naturally more aggressive, but that's not to be confused with violence. It can translate into a great number of things. What I'm saying is that men don't start wars, people with power start wars. |

| Modern war and violence have less and less to do with one another, especially on a political level. Statistically, is a woman less likely to get into a regular bar-room brawl than a man? You bet. Statistically, is a women less likely to push a button or to order a couple thousand troops into a 3rd world country with the facade of peace but the ulterior goal of ascertaining natural resources as well as personal weapons contracts? So far. |

girls are becoming more and more violent though just like they are becoming richer
in my high school there was 2 male fights last year
and tens of girl fist fights, of course most of the girl fist fights are uh...i dunno not on the same level as the male ones.
i also saw some video where these gangster kids go into this shop to rob it or whatever, and they punch out the store owner or whatever, but while the boys go off and rob the store, these two girls just keep beating the out of this asian guy behind the counter, and calling him names and , then they started working him with the fire extinguisher.
it was pretty disturbing, but yeah those girls must have been beaten up by guys a few times prior to this... |

This is true. Time and progress will be the great revealer. |

so i suppose a lot of people would say that women being more compassionate towards other human life and well being could be related to the whole "mother" instinct thing?
I mean they do give birth...that has to effect your mentality somehow...well maybe not. Its not like all women are good mothers.

Maybe? Giving birth yields many unique neurochemical effects, such as the release of oxytocin (a hormone that promotes trust and well-being) during breast feeding. I would lean towards the sex hormones themselves having some reasonable psychoactivity and modulatory effect on mood.
But it's hard to tell. I didn't receive much support from my sister, mother, father, or brothers when I told them I was a transsexual, and I've certainly been treated harshly by both genders at different times, so I'd more lean towards compassion being a not completely correct stereotype. It really depends on your minority and circumstances, too. |

yeah definitely, i don't deny the psychological effects of hormones or anything, but i don't completely understand them either.
i know im pretty damn low in testosterone lol. or else it effects me differently...maybe testosterone causes me to troll ta instead of fap to hentai. maybe i just smoke too much weed (or is the weed effecting testosterone levels thing a myth?) |

[Serum testosterone concentrations in cannabis and opiate users]
[Article in German]
Friedrich G, Nepita W, André T.
Institut für Rechtsmedizin, Universität Freiburg.
The object of this study was to establish possible influences of long-term cannabis usage on plasma testosterone levels. The plasma testosterone levels of 66 male Pakistani who for years had smoked cannabis daily or drank cannabis regularly where measured after chronic and acute intake of the drug and compared with a material of 41 normal controls, i.e. persons who did not use cannabis. An evaluation of the results showed that there were no significant differences between the two groups. No influence of long-term cannabis usage on plasma testosterone levels was found. Furthermore we wished to find out wether long-term heroin abuse showed an effect on plasma testosterone levels. The concentrations of testosterone in the plasma of 102 heroin addicts assigned to a Methadone Program were measured and compared with the values of 29 male healthy students as controls. Plasma testosterone levels were found to be significantly decreased in heroin addicts as compared to controls.

Higher levels of testosterone correlate to more aggressive behaviour, but that's not true in all cases, just like smoking causes cancer in a lot of people but not all. One of my friends was the gayest meth user ever and was a very nice person despite being really ing high a lot, and when he got his levels of testosterone tested it turned out he was high-normal. I also used to be extremely horny when I was younger, and when I got my testosterone levels checked (before I ever went on estrogen) they were low-normal. |
