Since I was at the Prodigy concert also, I couldn't help make the same comparison after Daft Punk was done. Musically, I would say that The Prodigy was better, but that is because I love their songs a lot more than Daft Punk's - they appeal to me more. That said, Daft Punk was a much better SHOW. I came to the conclusion that Prodigy was the best performance I've ever seen, and Daft Punk was the best show I've ever seen.

I'd probably have to agree with you, both were outstanding

Showed up at Arrow Halls shortly after 7pm to see a massive line snaking its way around the building and figured ", this is going to take for ever" as I heard the thumpa-thumpa of Sebastian inside. Luckily, the line moved pretty damn quick and was inside in no time at all.

Only caught part of the 1st DJ set then The Rapture came on who were just "OK" - I dont listen to much non-electronic music, so I didn't really know much about these guys. A few of their tracks had me dancing, but far from turning me into a 'fan' of theirs.

During the 2nd DJ set, I spent most of the time playing phone/text tag trying to find friends / etc and missed most of it (grrr) so can't really comment to much on that.

For me, I'm not a big daft-punk fan (I dont dislike them or anything, just not something I go out of my way to listen to very often). When they were huge - it was before my time (I was into punk back then), and I havn't followed any of their newer stuff. I know who they are obviously - and do like a few of their tracks, but they were never anyone I'd go out of my way to listen to their music before. I pretty much went expecting a good party, killer vibe and a stellar light-show : which is exactly what I got.

Daft Punks set was good and had me dancing for most of it, the vibe/energy in the crowd was infectious & the light-show was a pleasure to watch - the videos on youtube dont do it justice.

While I wont rank this as my #1 party - probably somewhere in my top-5, it was still a damn good time and was worth every penny I spent. (I'd say Black and Blue in 2005 was the best party I've been to, with Mutek taking up most of the other slots :P))

^Eh. I still think Underworld's Rez/Cowgirl mash up is sweetest mash up I've heard so far.

thats kind of a mashup, but at the same time not really. cowgirl uses a sample from rez, and the two are often mixed together consecutively.

Best experience of my life... HANDS DOWN!!!

Ever since i've first seen the Coachella vids I knew that it would become my life's mission to witness this for myself.

And last Sunday I did...

I still have goosebumps and get tingly watching the vids I made!

To hear the classics from one of the most IMO influential original and creative electronic albums of all time, not to mention one of the albums that GOT me into EDM as a teenage....it was bliss!

Now, Sebastian and Kavinksy, that was the seal on the deal to make me go to this show, these guys tear the up! I love that style, it's unique, love the Ed Banger experience! Probably because I am a all around music lover ever since I was young, rock, metal, rap, reggae, retro, funk etc.. and they capture all of it in one!

I would have loved to see more of the Rapture, been fans of them for yeras, but got to Arrow hall too late, and the line was retarded...

And here some videos.. (More videos here -> http://www.youtube.com/profile_videos?user=djmachx&p=r)
