oh no you didn't. she's da bomb dot com. additional fact, she graduated from da U. too bad eduardo doesn't post here anymore. he'll go postal on your ass as much as lance got upset over your comments about boston and brady. :happy2:

btw, according to her wiki, Ron Jaworski used to babysit Suzy Kolber. go figure!

She's no Andrea Kramer, but she's still weird-looking & ditzy. Plus, Joe Namath finds her attractive. That's 2 strikes right there.

you know who was a horrible sideline reporter for Monday Night Football? Melissa Stark. she knows didly what's she doing. Suzy Kolber knows a lot more than her.

you know what i am afraid of? Rachel Nichols becoming a sideline reporter one day on MNF. :nervous:

come to think of it, I can't think of any female announcers, anchors, or sports reporters I like. Dana Jacobsen's alright, but she gets the worst jobs on espn that it's irrelevant.

my favorites female anchors are

*Suzy Kolber
*Andrea Kramer (i like her too. at least she enunciates the words she says, and doesn't dress too sleezy to pick up male votes. i want to hear news, not to see a women showing her bra slit).
*Linda Cohn - I don't care how old she is. I've seen her on ESPN and Sportscenter for years. she's a legend to me.

I hate the american style of commenting sports. Sure it's fine to give some emotion to it, but it sounds way over the top for me.

But we've got our share of idiots too. Hélder Conduto, the guy who manages to slot in the place of birth of the player with the ball in every other sentence.

If any of you guys watch hockey, then Harry Neale (who's the colour commentator for Maple Leaf games and covers Canadian teams in the playoffs on CBC) is one of the worst guys to listen to. He sucks SO MUCH Maple Leaf on air that he might as well strap on a TML jersey and let every member of the team ram his ass. It's sickening.

I don't mind Joe Buck for baseball and football, although Tim McCarver is such an idiot. John Madden was good in his day and knows his football but he was never a master of the English language and his ability to form coherent sentences is diminishing as he gets older and more senile.

As far as baseball goes, I think the YES guys are among the best, but Bob Costas, Joe Morgan and the other fat bald guy from ESPN are a great duo as well. I miss the days when NBC had the rights to the ALCS/NLCS and World Series.

LMAO... I agree w/ everything said in this thread so far!! The poster who mentioned the Joe Buck/Randy Moss thing is spot on... Joe Buck just blows everything out of proportion, seriously.

My .02 will go to whatever idiot thought Dennis Miller & Tony Kornheiser were suitable for Monday Night Football! Those are the 2 biggest idiots I've ever heard on TV.

ps... Please bring back Paul "You wanna talk about a guy.." Maguire

I really hope you're being sarcastic

Dick Enberg doesn't do much these days but the last 5 years or so he's been BRUTAL! I can only really think of him on tv for the Masters and tennis US Open but he is so past it!

Also, worst commentator EVER on the PGA Tour had to be Lanny FATkins...he was beyond horrible but thankfully was canned awhile ago in favour of Faldo, who can actually form a sentence and offer some humour.

although dick enberg is becoming senile, i still enjoy listening to him. he's simple, doesn't do anything over the top, and just tells it like it is.
