Not all of us have 88 Civic/or 92 Acuras.
Some people actually have nice cars. And driving 100km max on a 400 series highway probably causes more accidents than someone driving 130km/h.
Honestly though, there are a lot of times where the slow lane is going atleast 120km/h. I don't know how you can drive safely at 100km/h when everyone else is going 120+ |

They're actually supposed to test their radars before and after every driver they stop... but even for just the overall shift, you'd be surprised how many of them don't test afterwards.
Unfortunately, a lot of the judges simply don't give a . Spend any length of time in traffic court and the asinine decisions will blow your mind. I still remember some dumb blonde chick pleading guilty to going over 180 km/h, and the judge dismissing the case.
Realistically, if you take your ticket to court and the officer on duty shows up at the trial, and you're not either a babe or a minority willing to play the race card, you're very likely ed.
If a cop actually paced you with his speedometer, you have no chance at all of winning. They don't have to prove that they calibrated it - it's just assumed that the speedometers are accurate. You can try to fight those tickets, but really it's just a waste of time. Fighting laser tickets is probably a waste of time too, those things don't realy need calibration, they just have a self-test that takes 2 seconds to run.

We sold it!! :D
We had that car for like 5 years and we traded it in when I got my Acura!
I'll miss that car as I had a lot of goods time with (including our road trip to London! woohoo :D :D) |

i rather be places rather than spend half of my day driving like you. it's people and drivers like you that cause ing traffic jams on the highways because you are being to careful not to hit the car in front of you which is 500m away slowing all the other cars down. Are you also one of those that go 50km/h on the highway after a little bit of rain? get off the highway if you want to go slow. |

its people who speed that cause traffic jams....if people weren't speeding then they wouldn't have to slow down for people who are obeying the law.

i do the speed limit. if it says 80, i do 80-90, if it says 100km ill do around 100. and no i dont slow down for rain, im not an old person.
ive never been in a accident in my life, so me doing the speed limit doesnt cause accidents, its idiots who think their hot and do well over the speed limit. |
