There has never been a night where I couldn't choose who I enjoyed the most. Until last night. All, and I mean ALL of the DJ's were superb.
Tae, Mike, Zak and Hai Lee, I want you all to live at my house. Note to Tae, as you continually to refuse to play me some Justin Timberlake, you will have have to do the dishes daily and take out the garbage. The rest of you can just spin and eat the free food. |

| That was probably the best 10 bucks I've ever spent seeing any type of performance. The vibe was really cool, and Steve Helstrip was really getting into the music. Track selection was solid, lots of classics, and it was a lot of fun. I had to leave at 3 because my friend had sand in his vagina, but it was a really fun night. Also, Love seemed to play a lot louder than most clubs which was also pretty cool. |

| I cant agree anymore this is what trance should be about.. 10 bux and loads of fun ^^, it was a banging night with tons of energy. first time to this place it looked creepy at first with all those graffitti when entering and once inside it was cool, the crowd was pretty cool, everyone just having a great time and smiling , giggling or whatever...... dont even remeber what time i left ^^. |

So I arrived last night at 3am because my 4:15 flight from miami to lga got cancelled and I had to fly into newark which also got delayed and I didnt get in till 130 to find out they lost my luggage!!!
But I digress, I could not have walked in to a better song, my all time favorite song Veracocha - Carteblanche!!! All the DJs were awesome (I missed Thrillseekers but the local DJs made it up)!
Old school tracks were dropped, World In My Eyes, Silence, Seven Cities, For An Angel (I hope PVD drops it today), so many to name, I was psyched!!!
Thank you for making my crappy flight in worth my while!!! The vibe was great, people were enjoying themselves, and all those glow sticks!! Damn! It took me way back!
Although I have to mention 1 thing that bothered me. I went up to request a few tracks (anything from Cosmic Gate, Rank 1, 4 Strings, you know, CLASSICS , hence the name of the night) and there was a guy asking the DJs to play AS THE RUSH COMES. What!?!?!?!?! Um, hello! ATRC is 2004, although a great track (much love to G&D and Jes) that is not an old school classic yet! I dont know if I am revealing my age when I say Expander was THE track to get me into the scene, but damn it man! lol
Ok, that is all, thanks again gentlemen for the sick tunes :) |

the locals were better than Thrillseekers, IMO.
i understand if others disagree, to me classics are 97-2002.
i understand the concept of the instant classic, but i dont think that's what a classics night is about, classics nite ias a night to hear tracks u havent heard in a club in at least 5 years or more. |

^ definately
I had the best ing time, but I was disappointed in the lack of classics that Steve played. Synesthesia and Sweet Sorrow, and that's about it. We asked him to play Saltwater and he couldn't even do that. Bleh. Hahah, still he played rockin tunes, I was just more amp'd for some classics haha. The locals tore it up proper. Love is a sick club, never been there before. |

Definitely the best $10 I've spent lately, all the DJs were great. Wow this was seriously a great party; awesome people and great music. I can't say enough about the night.
Oh and thank you Meredith for taking me to the second floor of the fraggle rock room...many a people could get lost there ;). |

In all fairness though, Steve really didn't HAVE to play classics.
It was the first time for me and probably others to hear Thrillseekers play how they normally play.
The locals playing Classics is another thing. Right on for that. I didn't get to stay past 1:58 am but it was a pretty good night. [last song i hear from Thrillseekers was that corayzee simon patterson song!!! How long did he play till?]
Was not feeling to good so had to cut the night short. Wish I could have stayed longer as tonight seems like a wacker night out of the weekend. grrr. |
