It's a fully digital mixer versus and analog one with digital effects, is built much better, and is more like slimmed down 800 than a 600.

Maybe you SHOULD read more.

but it doesn't seem any different than the 600... other than a slight facelift. = total waste of time

I happen to have purchased the 700 about two weeks ago. It is an excellent mixer. I did post a thread two weeks ago, I guess no one bothered with it. Any way, all I can say is that it was worth the money ($1299.99), not much difference from the 800 AT ALL. I frequently use both of these mixers and the difference is not worth the extra $250.00.I am happy with my purchase and it sounds AMAZING!

As for the DJM-700, its nothing revolutionary, but it does seem to be a good replacement for the DJM-600 I guess. I think MAP is $1300, whereas MAP for the DJM-800 is $1550....

eq is e on the nuos IMO...

this is my new favorite linear fader mixer

had a go on it last saturday, ing solid. great knobs, great EQs, very solid

Well, I posed the mrsp. I got it @ guitar center, and they hooked me up for $ 1250.00 even with tax n all. As opposed to $ 1390.00 with tax n everything, it didnt come out so bad. Guitar Center usually hooks it up with some type of discount, so I can definatley reccomend buying from them.

Haha, that's crazy. If it's the one in the Greenery Mall on Kendall, they've never offered me any discount on anything. :whip:
