Crobar is pretty much a dead deal.
downtown LA used to be the cool place to go in the early 90s believe it or not. i don't see the LA Live venues being a good match for EDM..i don't remember any clubs like that going in there. |

YES... I heard rumors about Circus & Arena closing (supposidely they are building movie theaters there).
That means NO MORE bumping music noise and drunken people noise every damn night of the week... not that I'm planning to live in this hole area forever or anything, but still... |

When I heard that the last night of Circus was going to be NYE and that the place would be knocked down to make room for condos. My heart sank!I love Circus and have so many good memories there?
I also heard about Avalon! But isn't that building protected b/c it is a historical land mark.
I hope by 2008 there will be a new club or new area where we can play at! Some one could always go into Henry Fonda (music box) and redo the whole place to make it a dance club.
I am sure there are other venues around as well. |

There probably will never be another club like CIRCUS and all the things CIRCUS has been to many of us.
Circus has been running since 1974 and has never been closed but... I guess all things must end some day. |

Son, where do you think I have been for the past year and a half. I do have to admit that Circus closing is very depressing to me. I love Circus, it is my favorite club. Pitty to see it go. |

geez - how many times do i have to say it. Crobar LA is 99% not gonna happen. yes they have been working on it. yes we all know the space. as of right now they have been turned down on the permits and are close to walking away from trying to go into LA. i wish it would happen but i'd bet as of right now it won't.
the Pacha rumour has been around for a while...i hope they come here - Pacha Ibiza is probably my favorite club in the world...we hit it up 5 times over the Labor Day holiday :D |
