Here's some food for thought for you yankees fans:
Damon - .278, 2 r, 5 rbi, 8 lob
jeter - .176, 0 r, 0 rib, 8 lob
abreu - .267, 1 r, 2 rbi, 4 lob
Arod - .267, 2 r, 1 rbi, 6 lob
posada - .133, 1 r, 0 rbi, 11 lob
matsui - .182, 4 r, 0 rbi, 9 lob
cano - .333, 3 r, 2 rbi, 6 lob
cabrera - .188, 2 r, 2 rbi, 7 lob
mient - .000, 0 r, 0 rbi, 3 lob
duncan - .500, 1 r, 0 rbi, 0 lob
giambi - .250, 0 r, o rbi, 0 lob
With the exception of cano and damon, that lineup looks like ....you can't win games leaving that many runners on base (they averaged 15 lob a game), and that's what resuled in the loss. |

Cut the stats in game 3 when they actually did well and re-list, that's even more telling about why they're done. You have to give credit where credit is due and the Indians played one hell of a series. Yankees fans should rejoice that Boston will still be watching the Series on their big screens. Indians in 6, only because their pitching isn't as amazing after the first 2 in the rotation and we'll need to see at least one of them twice for 4 wins. |

20 out of 21 for the Rox, and they are on the verge of their 2nd straight sweep
If the Rockies clinch tomorrow, most people here probably won't see it (as if they were interested anyways), as it would most likely happen at around 2 am |

Rockies roll into the World Series
They seem to have forgotten how to lose
Coors Field can make some good pitchers look bad, so it will be interesting to see what effect it will have on the AL team. We could also see some snow in the Fall Classic. |

The Pilgrims are on their way to defeating the Native Americans
The drought will continue for the Tribe
It will be Sox and Rox in the World Series... on FOX! :p |

YESSS!!!!
Someone on this thread called a Sox, Rox World Series :tongue2
I'm still so surprised by how poorly, in general, Sabathia and Carmona pitched. Also, from the start of the game last night, Cleveland looked overwhelmed. Errors, base running mistakes, they really helped us out last night.
That said, GOOOO SOXXXX! |

It was a good game until the 7th. this should be a good series. although i hope the delay didn't hurt the rockies. seems like it will be a great series if the rockies are still banging it out. |

They're showing the Buckner play. Why does Fox insist on berating me with these highlights and ruining a perfectly good blow out? I'm waiting for them to show a bucky/boone blast montage.
Why is Beckett still in the game? |
