| didn't go but from watching on TV seemed like there were a TON of Ranger fans in the audience...Marty was bad tonight. Jagr's goal was a thing of beauty beginning with his play behind the net to the actual goal. Sucks for Devils fans that Gomez got a point tonight too. |

| ^^^it sucks that they started out the season on the road. I would like to say the beginning of the season means nothing but my team, Colorado, is doing fabulous right now and I hope to see that momentum last through June :toothless. |

I'll probably go to the rock at some point this season since it's very convenient to get to via the PATH
I'll see how it compares to my experiences of the newer NHL/NBA arenas I've been to (Wachovia center, Verizon Center, TD Banknorth Garden, Conseco Fieldhouse, Staples Center) |

My comments on the Rangers so far:
* I'd much rather have the problem of being offensively challenged while playing great defense than scoring lots of goals while having Lundqvist face a ton of shots every game.
* Rangers powerplay is still suffering from the hot potato syndrome. They're passing like they're the harlem globetrotters on ice. I'm sick of the power play units passing until it gets intercepted and cleared. JUST SHOOT THE DAMN PUCK!!!! :whip:
* I'm enjoying watching Marc Staal develop game by game. I hope Renney realizes that only good things happen when Marek Malik isn't playing :toothless |
