Seriously, wtf is your problem? Do you still live with your parents and mommy doesn't give you enough attention anymore? FYI I've been listening to EDM since I was 12 and now I'm 16, if it makes you seem any more ignorant. You should think twice before you touch your sticky keyboard.

Did I ever say the 12 yr old I was referring to was you?

Talk about some self pwnage!

:haha:

Can't we all just jam to a Richie Hawtin mix and get along?

I have a dream, that one day, people of all sorts of races can sit the down and listen to a Richie Hawtin set without discriminating against genres :(

And let me just clarify that I didn't mean minimal isn't "good" music since that's obviously subjective. I just always find the "I didn't use to like genre xx but then I heard it in a club..." comments a bit weird.

weird as they may be, they have a bit of truth to them. all it takes is one really good night out, whether it be because of the crowd, the sound system, the club, the dj, the music whatever...one good night out can change your mind entirely about a genre.

a friend of mine used to hate minimal, a whole lot... he said he found it dull etc. one night in miami we went to the burridge barrage at b.e.d. and he was totally in love with the genre.

....yeah that would be for the CHILLOUT room....not the dance floor...there for it wouldn't work....

There is a group of guys that put together a great party here in Philadelphia about once a month. It mainly consists of minimal, techno, and tech house in the main rooms but there is an outside section that is nothing but ambient the entire night. Funny enough, that is the most packed room all throughout the entire night.
