reading these reviews I find myself reminiscing about Armin's sets at Roxy back in '03 I believe. THOSE were some amazing nights!

cant go off what people say on these boards. It was the best night I've had in awhile and the same with some of the other people I went with.

If that was the case then Sean wouldnt be coming here that often

never been, but if you can't get 500 people into a place for 10 bucks then clearly people don't want what you're selling. If sean can pack a club then 10 bucks may be too cheap. This is not different then selling any other product.

Actually the negative responses in this post are from people who have pretty good credibility IMO.;)

agreed, people who have been in the scene for 10+ years and have experienced many djs. the difference is people like that have an appreciation for the music, and dont care who is spinning it, todays generation regards the dj not the music.

that's BS, you pay $50+ everytime you go out so that when you come home in the morning you can find out whether the night was fun based on the TA forum. what an idiot. ;)

My Review

Venue

Holy . I've never seen a club so packed in my life. I knew the main dance floor was gonna be unbearable but the 2nd floor overlooking the main floor was a disaster as well. It got so bad to the point where they wouldn't let some people leave the 2nd floor onto the staircase leading to the dance floor. Made's def gotta reassess where they book Armin next time in NYC. It was def worth getting the VIP area. U had all the room in the world for yourself and u could actually breathe and dance. From my view in the VIP balcony the main dance floor at 3 a.m. looked ridiculous and impossible to even breathe. I can't imagine how much $$$$$$ Pacha made from alcohol sales last night. It was cool hanging out in the area behind the DJ booth. Made, do yourselves and everyone else a favor and book the Hammerstein Ballroom next time.

Armin's set

As for the music, I thought Armin's set was alot better than at McCarren Park. Not as many fillers IMO as this past summer. Does anyone know what remix of Shawn Mistika's Saved Again Armin threw on????
