Hey Kevin :)

It was great meeting you on Friday and see you on Saturday inside the venue. And you're welcome, I organized the gathering with pleasure.

You got distracted in the Red Light District, that's why you lost us :p
And I can understand :p

this is my photo album and if you look good, you will see the pictures of us in it too :)

http://partyflock.nl/album/322012/2987638.html

Also I just finished creating my video of the party, it's 1 hour and 18 minutes long and contains the pictures and all the videos I recorded. Have some amazing videos. Videos of Kyau & Albert, Ferry Corsten, amazing videos with the tracks: Out Of The Blue, Gouryella and more, Marco V and Tiesto. After I recorded the last track, I just didn't have enough battery anymore to record more of SvD, Rank 1 and Mark Sherry :(

But all the videos are insane, amazing sound quality :eyespop:

Will post it soon when it's online :)

See you next time :)

Trance Energy was AMAZING! Anyone who says otherwise is just plain jaded.

Kyau and Albert played an awesome opening set in on the Main Stage. I went ape when they dropped Walk Down, they had great vibes, looked like they were having a ing blast up there (they always do!) and ugh, that closing remix of A Beautiful Day was sooo sweet, my first time hearing it, crowd went nuts!

Next up... Ferry Corsten!!! This guy is the ing king of trance! I think that was one of the best sets EVER. Crazy uplifting trance, awesome energy, just bomb after bomb. He had such a sweet intro too, and seeing him in Holland is always great. They love him there so much. That burning `F was so ing cool. Glad to hear new and old tracks from Ferry. I still haven't listened to the set again but I can't wait!

From there I headed to the Future Stage and saw the last few minutes of Marlo, they were good. Saw Simon Patterson hanging out on the sidelines and talked to him for a few, he remembered me and Stan from Shelter in NYC, that guy is cool as hell.

Up next was John O'Callaghan, and in my opinion, BEST SET OF TE! Holy , crazy crazy energy!! I wish this set was recorded so I could relive it! He played "If You Should Go" - WOW! And then his closing track, the number one track I wanted to hear all night... BIG SKYYYYYY!!! WOOOOOO! The whole Future Stage was going wild, EVERYONE was singing along, John kept cutting out the track and you'd hear everyone singing at the top of thier lungs, it was ing awesome! Got to talk to him afterwards, he's so friednly, really awesome guy, I can't wait to hear him spin again. JOC just made it up to the top my favorite DJ's list!!

After JOC... the hometown hero.. SEAN TYAS!!! YEAAAAH MAN! Opened up with the vocals of what I think was the Aly & Fila Remix of "If You Should Go" ing great!! Sean threw down proper straight up bangin trance, he dropped Heart 2 Heart which is ing SWEET, and closed it out with Binary Finary! was sickkkk, so awesome seeing one of our own from NYC lighting it up at Trance Energy! Rock on Sean!

Then I caught the last 90 minutes of Tiesto... always great! They reallllly love him in Holland hahah. I've never seen the Main Stage at Jaarbeurs so crowded. He dropped a lot of old and new. was sweet! I died when he played Airwave!

Caught some of Sander, Rank 1, and Mark Sherry after Tijs but I was really starting to get achy and tired.

Trance Energy ing ROCKED as always!

See you in 2009!!!

Johan better be back!! :tongue3

One word can only express the emotion that I felt with everyone, amazing.
Jordy put together meet and a beer was raised to honor Jordy today at dinner. Thanks a million Jordy, and whoever help with the meetups.

As for Trance energy: well I think enough has been said: amazing; going to go back; and also now thinking about moving into the united kingdom since I still have my UK citizenship. (anyone need a good Electrical Engineer with good PLC and circuit design experience)? :)

SETS:
I dont think there is anything better for the DJ's to hear other than, I was pretty much dancing / boppin from 10pm-7:20am when it ended.

now to get the sets.

Hello all,

Candy and I(Cornell) safely returned to San Francisco last night and we are still on our "high" from Trance Energy 2008, so you will have to excuse me if it gets a bit mushy(or PLUR-y). :tongue2

I think it's a testament to the wonderful people we met at our TA meet-up that Candy and I were eager to get back home to our computers to read the postings from all of you and write one ourselves. In that sense, we want to echo Tommy/Maggie's sentiment that "everyone was so respectful, outgoing, and friendly with meeting complete strangers". There is no question in my mind that the whole TE2008 experience was enhanced because of you guys. Everyone was generous in their own way -- Chris(from Naples), through his enthusiasm in the forum, really was the catalyst for me(and many of you) to make the trip; Tommy pointed me to a nice hotel which we enjoyed; Maggie comically reminded us that we are all still "American tourists", after all, with the "curler incident"; Mike(from C-bus) generously lent me his phone without any solicitation when I had to go fetch Candy; Brandon/Tiffany kept it real with the raver gear; Trevor/Rachel brought us back to our youth(first trip abroad in the first 6 mo. of dating... slow down, kids!); Paul, our newly-found Bay Area homey, took one for the team at Baba ;); Heather the transplant from D.C. who may have to take over as next year's TE host; John who was a late-comer to the TA meet-up(you're going to WMC, kid); Chris(Toronto) showing us how to party "sober"(and sharing pics with us later?); Meagan and the crew putting Buffalo on the party map; Rob dropping the knowledge about his previous TE experience; Riia graciously "putting up" with Tiesto's set just to hang out with us on the dance floor; and last but not least, Jordy, our fearless leader, organizing the meeting and essentially guaranteeing good times for all. I know I forgot a bunch of people but I'll end it here before I cave into temptation to buy tickets for Armin ONLY at Jaarbeurs next month. :D

As someone alluded to earlier, I feel like the years of our partying has culminated in the party-to-end-all-parties that is Trance Energy. But it was even better because we had you guys with whom to enjoy.

I hope everyone made it back to their respective homes safely. I'm sure we'll keep in touch at least in the forums, and let the countdown for TE2009 begin!

Hey all. It's Kris from Toronto.

I just wanted to say a quick what's up to everyone here :D
I have loads of videos that I am currently uploading to youtube... OMG, I watched all 20 of them in succession last night on my television and it almost brought tears to my eyes... Again

I just wanna quickly share 1 of the most amazing moments of my life with you.... when Tiesto came on and dropped Universal Nation. I couldn't hold back the tears, I was so caught up in the emotion. Ever since hearing his set from TE in 2000 and hearing him opening with Universal Nation in his 99 Innercity set, I've always wanted to know what it would have been like to be there... and it was like both parties came together at once! I was seriously in heaven! A moment I will never forget for my life!

Anyway, the whole party was truly unforgettable, and there is no doubt I will be making this trip every year! I already have my photo's up on facebook, but I'll upload them somewhere else to post on here as well. I'm sure it will tkae more than a few days for all my videos to upload, but trust me... it'll be worth the wait!!! :D

Was greta meeting everyone! So many names and faces going through my head right now, but I remember you all! Sorry if I don't personally shout out to all friggin 50 of you, lol. That's all for now... more to come
TranceheadMegz
What up fellow tranceheads, it's Meg from Buffalo (now Orlando, FL)...Just wanted to give everyone a shout out who I met in Holland. This year was so amazing...a truly monumental life experience that I will always cherish and certainly never forget. All of the people made this event so memorable and remarkable. I cannot wait until next year's event. When I listen to the sets again, it evokes true emotion and brings me back to the event. Sander Van Doorn was my man of the evening, but Tiesto's set was replete with emotion, love and ing soul. Without hesitation, TE 2008 was one of the most amazingly beautiful nights of my life. I sincerely hope to see everyone next year!
Peace!
Chryz707
I have to say this years group was the most cohesive group. We all come from different places but we all really got together we really looked out for each other. I really hope to see you all next year and hope our group will grow and equally be as cohesive together. You all made this my #1 Trance Energy out of the 3 I have been too. I will never forget any of you...

My video will be online soon, hopefully.
It was uploaded, but Google video gave a failure status :(
So I had to upload it all over again.

I can't wait to show the 1 hour and 18 minutes video
