knicks are playing with more intensity which is a start. I saw the first quarter. Sad it was not the 4th and playing like that.
Everyone says 2010 will be the year the knicks will get a big name. I am positive it will not be lebron or even d-wade. Bosh is like garnett but on a slightly better team than the t-wolves so he might jump ship. By that time he will want a ring so hope the knicks are 2nd round playoffs contenders by then to show they are the real deal. Right now they are still at the bottom of the plyoffs list but not out yet which is a positive. |

| Duhan broke the franchise record in tonight's game against the Celtics. 42 Consecutive free throws. Last time was Latrell Sprewell in the '01-'02 season. |

Celtics were on fire in that first quarter. Something like 16 for 19 fg's. Knicks defense worked well with the mini come backs but if your behind the whole game their defense is futile.
PS. A couple of articles just came out about lebron may resign with the Cavs before 2010 but will see. IMO he will not join the Knicks. |

And just for the record... can I please get an exact synopsis of whats going on wit my man from Coney Island...
Starbury is getting paid, but has to fly himself to and buy tickets to watch away games?!!!
and why wont he play. I hear he wants to play, I mean christ, this is his dream job... he plays for the pro team from his home town, if u will.
is it that he wont play, or they wont play him, or his teammates hate him so they wont play with him, or what??
can i please get some clarification on this |

It all started the day D'antoni met Him in Phoenix. After that it has been sour and now it is the same. Maubury was in shape ready to play and D'antoni came in and he said you will be 2nd or even 3rd pg on the team. He was alirght with that until he did not see one minute the first 5 or 10 games and then we are at now. Get paid to do nothing makes the mangmt look like fools. Right now he is just banned being physically with the Knicks but is stuck with them monetarily until the contract is ova!(Reason is caued too much drama with the media) |

Marbury's short term greed will end up costing him down the road. Would teams want to add a guy with a tremendous amount of baggage? A guy who is clearly not a team player but a team cancer? He's better off trying to revive his career in Europe because he's not getting more than the veterans minimum if he signs elsewhere in the NBA next season.
Yes, management has some fault for this fiasco, but Marbury is looking like the bigger fool here. |
