| I watched some of the Knicks/Nets game last night. I can't believe people paid to watch that. It was brutal. I could go out there play like that. |

little tid-bit I noticed...
Zach Randoph comes to the Knicks then....
Latest Info on both teams
Knicks: 2nd worst record in the east(.296)
Portland:winning record in the mix of the west(.556)
I was lucky enough to actual go to the Knicks Vs Cavs game last Wednesday. By how the crowd reacted that game was like Isiah got real lucky.
I am still sticking with No Playoff no matter how bad the record then game over for Isiah. Bulls coach Skiles just got the boot if anyone noticed. |

That doesn't surprise me one bit since Isiah can't build a roster or coach to save his life. The plan of having 2 shoot first ballhogs who can't play D on the same court is just as idiotic as the plan of having two shoot first point guards in the starting lineup.
I know someone is planning another Fire Isiah protest on Dec 30. I plan to be there. |

I dunno if I'm willing to put 100% of all my doubt/anger on Isiah.
After watching the game against the Lakers on Sunday (a close one too), it looked as if the team was just not playing. It looked like they were playing in an allstars game; just not giving a until the very last quarter. Perhaps it's how Isiah is coaching them. And that would be a story we may not know about fully until we hear it from the players themselves. Whether his tactics in the battlefield is working or not. We see that it hasn't been working for 4 years.
He did say one good thing in the conference after the loss against the Lakers. He was asked if he would change the starting lineup. He said that he would and that would be a great idea. He should also use some other players that haven't really been playing in games recently. Maybe use players like Balkman or Collins a little bit more or something.
Coming back from 20+ points on Sunday's game looked like they were purposely holding back until the last quarter. I can still believe that this team can be great. Players like Curry & Randolph though, are ing this team up with their missing shots. They SHOULD be making those close range shots. Malik Rose is also on my list as ****** uppers in my opinion. He just fouls people at the wrong time.
Hopefully in the new year, Marbury comes back with renewed strength and weaves this team together into one powerful force. If they start playing like the way they do in 4th quarters, they should be a top team in the east in '08. I'm just hoping. |

I'm not sure if there would be a point to another protest. I'm pretty sure however he wouldn't be stripped of his coach status until the season is over. If I were the commander of a "Fire Isiah" protest, I would do it during the playoffs. And that's if the Knicks don't make it in '08. |

My anger is at 50% Isiah, 50% James Dolan.
Dolan's reign of stupidity is long: He decided to give Allan Houston a max contract because he was a "character guy". He waited way too long to fire Scott Layden. He wanted to trade Latrell Sprewell because he "wasn't a good influence" even though the trade for Keith Van Horn got him less than full value. His definition of progress and success is on par with Dubya's "Mission Accomplished" on the war in Iraq. He meddles in the basketball operations even though he has absolutely no clue on the game of basketball. He fired Marv Albert for not being a homer since Marv was being critical of the team. He made Al Trautwig his personal Iraqi Information Minister. He STILL sticks with Isiah despite his track record and the sexual harassment suit. I could go on and on and on. I'm just glad everyone knows how truly stupid James Dolan really is.

The man can't coach to save his life. Earlier this decade, he coached 3 loaded Indiana Pacers team into a first round exit. Larry Bird didn't fire him just because he had a grudge on him from his playing days.

This team is mediocre at best. They can score points in bunches, but they can't defend to save their lives.

I rather have Marbury get bought out and never start for the Knicks ever again. The man is a walking textbook on how not to be a leader. He's also a terrible decision maker as a point guard.
They really need to blow up this team and do their best to get rid of those contracts from hell, even if it means the Knicks have to give up the energy guys on the bench Nate Robinson and David Lee along with those bad contracts.
We're no better than we were earlier this decade. |

It'll show that the Fire Isiah chants won't be going away anytime soon. It'll also be therapeutic :p

post the protest info when it becomes available; if i'm in the city i'll swing through.
the knicks are an abomination; replacing isiah with herb williams -- or any carbon-based life form -- will probably be an improvement, but as long as that spoiled and meddling oaf dolan is running things titles will be a reach. msg has become a tragedy, with marv, ewing, oakley, mike saunders, norman scott and any other vestige of a competitive past severed lest we be draw comparisons with the substandard losers that take the court nightly.
-
when the knicks called two consecutive time out at the end of the laker game there was no doubt that the isiah-diagrammed play would be a mess. he's someone who should have never risen above the rank of scout: the fact that he will never again be handed the reigns to an nba franchise is little consolation in the present.
i've gone to a few games this season (10 dollar tix and giveaways from friends) but i need to stop enabling the goons...

| quote: | FIRE ISIAH! DUMP DOLAN PROTEST & WALKOUT
CLOTHING DRIVE TO BENEFIT NYC’S HOMELESS SHELTERS
SUNDAY DECEMBER 30, 2007 AT 11:00 am
IN FRONT OF MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
PROTEST = Stand with us outside the Garden, Be Heard.
WALKOUT = We are encouraging all fans that attend the game against the Bulls to make a statement by leaving the Garden at the end of the 3rd quarter and join us in our protest.
BENEFIT = Donate a clothing item to NYC’s homeless shelters for those less fortunate.
Due to disgrutled fan demand the protest has taken a little twist. We have decided to add James Dolan, Owner of The New York Knicks to the cause. Although Isiah is directly responsible for the debacle taken place with OUR team for the past 4 years, James Dolan is just as responsible overall. Furthermore, it’s James Dolans arrogance and and ignor-ance to do NOTHING to help this team and the changes that NEED to be made. It seems that everyone knows there is a problem besides him. The state of this team has reached a new low.
Why should we have to suffer for the doings of amateur, inexperienced, immature and uneducated ownership and management. All the while being blatantly conceited and arrogant about it!
The time has come to stand and unite. Power in numbers!
This also happens to be the day the Knicks have a home game against the Bulls which will most likely end up being another pitiful Knick lost. An ironic punctuation to an already pathetic season.
Although this protest has been initiated virally via blogs, podcasts, webcasts, various media outlets and personalities have already expressed interest and support for this protest. Their identity will come on the days prior to and the day of the protest.
So when you’re sitting there on a dark, cold winter night, this year, next year or whenever and OUR Knicks are losing another game (hopefully not by more than 20 points again), remember that someone organized a forum for you to voice your opinion. Be able to say to yourself, “I did all that I could” and be at peace with yourself instead of never doing anything. Accept mediocracy and that is what you’ll get. I never claimed that this would solve all of the Knicks problems but to do or say nothing is the real crime.
Don’t let the nay Sayers be right when they say, “Knick Fans aren’t passionate enough about OUR team and will never come together and voice their opinions. They don’t care that much about their team” I say “They are ALL wrong!
Driving by or waiting to see coverage via newspaper, web or television will not do. In order to make our point, attendance by all disgusted Knick fans is needed. Please support the efforts and message of this protest.
We’re not pompous or foolish to believe this protest will be the fix to end all problems with our NY Knicks. As die-hard fans that have suffered tremendous anguish watching this ownership and management dismantle and ruin this proud franchise and everything it stands for, our Knicks. The laughing stock of the NBA. WE MUST BE HEARD!
Please show your support Sunday, December 30, 2007 in front of MSG “The Worlds Most Famous Arena” with the “Most Pathetic Basketball Organization!”
I can be reached via email at [email protected]. Also respond if you are interested in receiving the daily protest email update. |

Yea. It's the players more so than the coach in the end. Change the coach, but the players will still play the way they do :p
When was the last time we got close to winning in the playoffs by the way? Was it when Latrell Sprewell missed that final shot to put them in overtime against the spurs? Forgot how many years ago was that. |
