Can't let this thread die yet. The season is not even half over.
Another tid bit..
(1/2)Sacramento, result: Win
S. Abdur-Rahim, PF Did Not Play
M. Bibby, PG Did Not Play
R. Artest, SF Did Not Play
K. Martin, SG Did Not Play
(1/4)Spurs, result:Win
M. Ginobili, SG Did Not Play
(1/6)Sacramento, result Win
T. McGrady, SG Did Not Play
S. Francis, PG Did Not Play
As you noticed, teams without some of their or most top notch players leads to the same result for the Knicks: ALL LOSES
PS. Notice how Zach Randoph got suspended for the head band incident(who knows if he meant it or not) but, another bad decision made and now they want Ron Artest, another trouble person. Maybe next they will want Pacman jones to help the team do better :toothless
PS: Hope Giants finally win. Eli flops were F'd
By looking at the top portion a good guess: All-Star D-league could beat the Knicks right now. I won't say top 25 college team. They are professional's right?? |

instead of trying to tread water and aim for .500 ball, they should do waht the bulls did after 1998. gut their team, play .200 ball for 4yrs and stockpile high draft picks and start fresh.
i never liked isiah ever since the 85 allstar game, and the pistons 4game sweep in 1990. punkbutt. |

thats what you call the rebuilding process. Good examples are well the Bulls, Cleavland, Portland, Nuggets, few others but..The problem with the Knicks is they want results right away and well the past four seasons you said".200 ball for 4yrs"
2004–05, 33 49 .402
2005–06, 23 59 .280
2006-07, 33 49 .402
2007-08, 8 23 .258 :o
they got .400 but no playoff result and now its the 4th year and well you see the facts. :nervous:
Its like the Celtic are the Patriots(funny they are both Boston) and the Knicks are the Dolphons of the NFL. |

unfortunately it's hard to drop expectations to the .200 level when your payroll is 90 mil. they're now caught in between two untenable poles: playing .500 ball and a first-round playoff elimination -- the best this collection of gimps is capable of -- or dropping the nightly turds we've been treated to this season.
the sad truth is given the current contracts, the knicks are at least 10 years away from title contention, with or without isiah at the helm. |

that's why you get rid of isiah. who throws money at players who don't deserve it. i'm sure the rest of the GMs in the league love him, b/c he's not afraid to absorb bad contracts.
at some point you have to pay for fiscal irresponsibility. the knicks are ed. |

The BCS is truly the authentic way to determine a national title winner! |

My whole take of this season:
This season couldn't have gone any better for me. Upon hearing that Isiah took over the coach of the team at the beginning of last season, I've been actively rooting against the Knicks ever since on the court and in the courtroom so he can get sacked. I was jumping for joy when I heard the news that Anucha Brown Sanders won her case against Cablevision and I'm jumping for blood every time the Knicks lose especially since this is the best chance Isiah can get fired.
The worst thing that could have happened to the Knicks is to be successful this season and to live up to their potential of making the playoffs as a low seed and exiting in the first round. Everyone would have forgotten (in the same way the media conveniently forgot about the Patriots getting caught cheating with the spygate scandal) about the sexual harassment lawsuit, MSG would have celebrated the "successful" season by assuring Isiah that he would have a job for life.
On a side note: I'm loving how the property tax for MSG is in serious jeopardy. It's about time that brainless legacy retard James Dolan pays his share of taxes. |

atrocious officiating + cellar-dwelling compadre = win. still, these days they'll take anything they can get, especially on the road. |
