I am just talking out of my own opinion here but paying like 60-70$ for S&D + Sander x 3000ish.. Gives you incredible setup and lighting, amazing sound and bookings that is WITHOUT ALCOHOL PROFITS.
And Looking at the 7000ish capacity & resolution and the lighting that is AT BEST "Okay". The people At the door pay 130-150$ for a ticket and the presale tickets start @ 85$ and become 100$ after the first 500 are sold.. I mean, I can see how there is a lot more DJ's booked for resolution and all and it is a longer party but is it just that, where all our money goes? I mean They have an alcohol license on which they are making massive amounts of money as well. I would just hope they could think of some kind of a show maybe something more original for the countdown...
They did do better on the sound but it is still not that good... I didn't see no lasers, no nothing for trance, The little lights they had in front of the DJ. It looked like they just flipped vertically from sensation lol, and come on the beach balls, that was not such a great idea in my opinion. I have a friend living in Moscow and he travels to a lot of these things in europe and some of the shows he sees are just unbelievable on effects.
They have fireworks, 6-8 intelligent 1000-2000mw lasers... A crazy lightshow for all the trance buildups, more of the white flashing lights for the breakdowns(not that you househeads would approve) :P But in General when you go to these it looks like a show...
Oh just a little minor thing you gotta add to the problems @ resolution.. The water out of the fountains tasted like donkey ... |

Tribe didnt make a penny @ they're party in fact its not hard to see that they lost at least 50 000k with the set-up they had invested in and crazy amount of $$$ they paid for talent also they have a whole year of profit coming from they're nightclub to absorb the debt of that party
plus bell center is way more costy to rent and all the soft drink, water, alchool sales goes into the group gillets pocket.
+ on december 31 all the staff for the thecnique witch you have to hired from the bell center because of the syndicate are paid double rate for the "montage/demontage" so right they're you can double the cost of what it usully cost
but i will give you the fact the they have to improve on the set-up.

Like i said in the beginning, it was just my opinion.. The fact is tickets for 7000 events in netherlands cost less then here and deliver better...
However I can see tribe losing money with those bookings, however they did make a lot of people happy and if tickets are more next time people will still buy them right?
Gotta love the ninja edit :toothless |

yeah but at the end of the day its a business and if you lost money well even if you had fun what you tried to do was a failure. my opinion.
but like i said befor they have to improve the set-up
laser @ the bell center is a must and also the screen that goes all around the stand is a must to |

Hey whatever you wrote first are your thoughts tho))
I am still wondering on how parties can be cheaper in Europe and still provide more of a show and lightings then the parties in montreal, maybe different economies + taxes, I am still guessing here.. |
